[pouts] #unloved poor hoppers ... there you go bb ... You can see from the low page count for the threads that nothing much has happened and besides, I have a memory like a sieve and each new Adam goodie seems to knock out the one before. I think we are basically recycling last weekends photos in one form or another. But recycling is good ... Right? Awww.... petting. I wuved being petted. ;D (Actually, not too fond of kitties right now as one of indoor-only beasties escaped while I was trying to bring the unloaded camping gear indoors before it poured. Just caught the ungrateful wretch and brought her wet hide inside.) : >:(

[bounds in] Hey guys! Was camping in the mountains for the last few days. Found the spot where hubby and I used to go as undergrads....but with a kiddo this time! 'Twas very cute....but no internet access! Did I miss anything epic? [pouts] #unloved Oh dear, I just gather there must be nobody here right now to chat, but you are certainly loved. One other thing that happened is that Adam spoke out publicly via twitter on a political subject and critiqued Michelle Bachmann. His twitter messages were widely RT'd and quoted. He brought attention to the Meet the Press clip that is truly telling in a very disturbing way: adamlambert Adam Lambert youtube.com/watch?v=TjMnFn… yup girl, your views are too clear: you're an extremely ignorant woman who just grins when she's called out. No thanks 15 Aug adamlambert Adam Lambert I usually steer clear of politics but she is a bully. Kids get teased in school by offspring of this type of parent. adamlambert Adam Lambert @ @orangeslushie her view IS ignorant. She is stereotyping and generalizing the lifestyle as one kind of life. We are way more diverse!

Was this posted earlier? More evidence that things are truly changing and everything that's happening in Adam's life is on the razor edge of what's going on these days: www.metroweekly.com/news/?ak=6513Prosecutorial Discretion Homeland Security announces implementation of changes that will enable some in same-sex relationships to avoid deportation by Chris Geidner Published on August 18, 2011, 3:54pm | Comments Responding on behalf of President Barack Obama, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano today sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid detailing that the department is in the process of implementing changes to enable the government to focus its resources on high-priority immigration cases involving crime and other public safety concerns.
A senior administration official says the changes are aimed at moving prosecutorial discretion exercised by immigration enforcement officials from an "ad hoc" system to a system focused on the "highest priorities" that will "eliminate the lowest priority cases" – including, another senior administration official says, same-sex couples where one partner is facing deportation. (more) Yes, and depending on election results this deportation situation will change with every election back and forth. We need a federal regulation on the marriage topic and protection to cover those legal cases. Just read today: Boy adopted in NY by a gay and married couple - but kid is born in Louisiana cannot get health care under NY law, because Louisiana refuses to release an issue of the birth certificate of the child to its parents, because their law does not recognize adoption by gays. States in the US have an agreement with each other to accept other states adoptions. So, regular adoption of one state is always accepted by another. In most other countries (outside of US) the Geneva convention covers this (whole other can of worms, that one), but LO is now playing out their own laws against law and this may take years. Meanwhile the child is without health care. When will it ever stop? ETA: Sauli's visum is a work visum, so not immediately related, but he is dependent on the present job situation. Otherwise he would be immediately effected.

He works for a Finnish media group Sanoma Media. Both Ilta-Sanomat (his blog & Tutka) and Radio Aalto are parts of this same company.

Let me just say that as an adoptive parent, who has seen the living conditions of many parentless kids and the life long risks they face if they don't find a family support system.. this disgusts me.
