You guys are cracking me up with the thoughts on Adam singing at the wedding. This is how I see the rumor: Groom's Dad to bartender friend: "Hey, Adam Lambert and Brooke are really good friends. He is going to be at the wedding."
Bartender: "That's cool! Maybe he'll sing!"
Dad: "Ya, who knows. He might!"
Rumor: My friend knows the bartender who is a personal friend of Brooke's dad. He said Adam might sing at the wedding! ;D

Here's a cover of Soaked by Alex Forriols (Spain Idol)- the same guy who did Fever. He did If I Had You, too but I didn't like that one as well. Does anyone know this guys story (we may have discussed this before but I don't recall it)? I thought his lower register at the beginning of the song sounded very nice. Then, he went for the high notes and it got more and more painful for me to listen to. I had to stop at the musical interlude. It just hurt. The tone was brassy, brittle, sharp, spikey. Felt almost like a tooth ache. So different from the tones and harmonics in Adam's voice, which I find smooth, round, warm and chocolate-y. Rich chocolate toffee in his low register, light chocolate mousse in something like TOFT, and bright chocolate with bits of peppermint in the high wails. Interesting how we all experience voices differently, isn't it?

(I don't experience synesthesia as far as I know) I don't believe I have ever eaten anything good enough to describe Adam's voice! But, it would need to look like a beautiful wine or honey with lots of light shining through it. Thank you Cassie for all the music expertise you bring here.

Nobody can do what Adam does with a song. Who has his range ,his gorgeous technique,His ability to caress the words of a song.. OMG I miss him :-/
