Adam's Twitter Followers increased 22,830 in December. (Probably due to tour!)  Sadly because they were buying followers again. Not because of the tour. Maybe a little. I'm a bit (actually more than a bit) confused. I vaguely remember reading about numerous big time pop singers "buying followers on twitter" but exactly WHO does the buying and how do we know that these new followers of Adam's twitter were "bought"? If someone could explain this whole phenon of "buying followers on twitter" to me, how it's done and who does it (fans?, management?), I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!  |

Not sure how it works, but there are a lot of 'egg' accounts out there. Some say they are bots and just randomly follow a lot of verified accounts. I saw a message this week that our biggest news agency twitter account is also getting a lot of these followers lately. Mostly bots that don't have a real person behind them.
