I’ve always loved that Adam includes his past relationships in his current circle of friends. To me, it seems highly evolved. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like I remember an interview where he commented that he didn’t understand how someone you once loved could just be gone from your life.......it’s pretty evident that he follows that philosophy.

Morning musings, It's Adam's life to share bits and pieces or not... Over the years,during interviews , I have found him to be very honest and forthright. IMHO Adam keeps his good friends forever,He is not in the least a social climber in the business, Big names are nice if he truly likes their character.. IMO,I'm only guessing, there are lots of people Adam could invite who would gladly come,but they are not in his trusted close circle. Sauli is a person Adam seems to trust with all his heart, Sauli has never revealed a word about their relationship ,infact he goes out of his way to be very guarded and protects Adam. IN show business everything is up for gossip and sources are always willing to talk. Adam has chosen his friends very carefully,so carefully, that some of us fans have to make up their own gossip..LOL I am going to take a stab at their relationship and guess that they love each other but are not IN LOVE.. I don't think a starry eyed Adam like he was with Sauli, in the beginning could keep being in love a secret. he seems to wear his heart on his sleeve.He also talks about wanting to fall in love again.But It's hard to find someone who can live with Adam's life,the constant travel,singing being his life,etc.He said in an interview,paraphrasing.. It's almost selfish to ask somebody to share the life I lead.. As far as Sauli being not up to Adam ,If you watch old videos of Sauli from when he was on Big Brother, ice sking competition ,etc. ,in Finland ,you will see what a charming,fun man he is .. I adore Sauli. He makes Adam happy .How our guy lives his life is fascinating . I guess It's fun to have fantasies as long as we know our thoughts are fantasies not reality. In a way maybe Adam enjoys our speculation or else I suspect there would be no pictures of private parties ,etc. It is what it is.....   I would also add that (in response to the poster talking about Sauli's perceived lack of intellect) whilst Adam appears to have the brain to be an intellectual, it's not how he chooses to be. I'll never forget his many-a-true-word-spoken-in-jest response in an interview when he said that rather than talking about the cultural aspects of the places he visits, he'd be more likely to talk about the new jacket he'd bought in a particular city. The friends he surrounds himself with are testament to this. I think you hit the nail on the head talking about Adam loving Sauli but not being "in love". I think perhaps this is the first relationship he's had where that transition happened from being head over heels to the mundane, everyday aspects of a relationship. His previous relationships probably ended before that stage. There was an Instagram a few weeks ago talking about the difference between real love and love in the movies which was really spot on and Adam commented "wow". I think in the intervening years he's realised all the stuff that was in that Instagram and that just because your heart doesn't skip a beat each time you catch sight of your beloved doesn't mean that you've stopped loving them. A big clue to me was in the Ru Paul interview when Adam said about Sauli "we talk all the time". I'm with Pattihum, they're back together in a long-distance relationship. Whether Adam will still be seen with other guys remains to be seen. Clearly Sauli is so secure in himself that Adam's little flings don't bother him. Perhaps that's more valuable to Adam than a genius IQ! |

So apparently someone made a post about two people that I don't know and plonked the names Adam and Sauli into the respective name slots. Because clearly, the two people that I have come to 'know' over time, are not who is described. I am not going to honor that post any further or go through and point out all the dozens of statements that are wrong/off.
So, while the real Adam and Sauli are working out the boundaries of their distant and rather unusual relationship, that on top of it, is lived inside some strange kind of public fish bowl, and while I am part of those that are occasionally looking, I will ignore those that either look into that fish bowl with distortion glasses on, or who are spreading some weird malicious half-truth kind of gossip out from the under-belly of Saint Felix.
On with what is actually coming from Adam, who is always a beacon of light, when others are trying to find darkness.
His mood is apparently bluesy.
The tie in to the songs before and after this improv section is indeed intriguing. And I am so torn. Musically, I hope that one day, Adam will just give us some of this beautiful blues on one of his album, but I do hope, that on a personal level, the blues is not all that he feels. He is going into recording sessions this month. I am so at two minds about this, because I love this bluesy sound, but certainly wish Adam a more uplifting feeling on a personal level. I so hope that he is happy. So, this is where my head really is for now...that gossip stuff, pffffft.

Adam once talked about a book he was reading called 'The Velvet Rage'by Alan Downs,PHD, overcoming the pain of growing up gay in a straightman's world. I bought it and read most of the book for better understanding . It's a very interesting and informative narrative,with much about gay relationships. In my heart of hearts I believe Adam is a very authentic human being. |

I did the same for the Wembley gig in December: booked as soon as the tour was announced. This way the hotel hadn’t upped the rates yet. When the tickets went on sale, the rates for the hotel were much more expensive.😉 During my check-in at the hotel, they double checked, if the price was correct, because they couldn’t believe it. Yes, it was👍. And no, unfortunately I wasn’t a girl scout. |

Yes, it was👍. Ha, glad I'm not the only one. This time I'm being more sensible though. I learned my lesson after booking the cheaper "use it or lose it" rate for the final night in Birmingham and then going home instead of to the show. So not only did I lose the money for my ticket, my train ticket, but I also had to pay for the hotel. This time I chose the slightly more expensive "cancel up to 24 hrs and pay nothing" rate. I've been to a few stadium shows but never paid attention to various ticket types. Does anyone know if they normally have VIP seats like in the arenas? |
