Hey Mods- how about setting up a Sauli page somewhere within the site so this pissing match can be hashed out without trashing a forum that is for ADAM? Don't let it spoil your day, Gracie, it's just a forum, it doesn't mean anything. And it does fill the pages up, give us something to read on quiet days!  I would actually like a page, where one could speculate or gossip about Adam’s „relationship(s)“. I know, I shouldn’t do it, but to me its just natural curiosity and fun. But from other comments I see, that some don’t like it. And it is certainly no news or info. But that kind of page should be well hidden, that not every occasional visitor stumbles over it.🤔 Just my opinion, though. |

There IS a Sauli forum here. Been there forever. But way back when, Q3 did say that it was OK to post about Sauli in the news thread along with Adam's family. Here is the old thread adamtopia.com/board/34/sauli-central |

Hope I didn't offend anyone with my posts. Everyone is free to have an opinion and to discuss  I think in this case the riffing is the end of the song „Underground“, which would certainly hint to a different mood than „Rumors“. But the connection of both is also very fitting.😉 Underground seems fitting as well. As I already said I believe Sauli left yesterday. When you're gone When you're gone, it's like I'm in one second in time I'm frozen When you're gone When you're gone, it's like I lost one half of my mind Stolen ETA: I remember very well when I couldn't listen to this song after the magical weekend we had in October 2015 when we saw Adam twice in two days up close. My first time seeing him with his own music live on both Saturday and Sunday. On Monday he left Amsterdam and also snapchatted about it. On Tuesday I had to go to studies and had the TOH cd in the car like I had almost all the time then. When Underground came on I cried and turned it off. So I can relate a little to what Adam might feel when Sauli left. Regardless of what their relationship at the moment is. They enjoy each others company a lot and it does seem they have grown together more now. |

Hope this doesn't upset anyone too much, but I have to put my two cents in. Thanks Nica, for your logical observations in yesterday's post. I think Sauli likes to vacation in LA, and while he's here with his friends he posts a lot for PR purposes, (in Finnish) so he can keep his name fresh in Finland. I don't know what's going on with him and Adam, but it's not passionate, and I don't think it ever was. I'm not even sure benefits play a role anymore. I sat in the seat behind Sauli and Leila at the Jay Leno show, when Adam sang BTIKM. First observation: Sauli is very tiny and pretty and sweet. He looked me in the eyes and smiled and there was kindness there, and curiosity. I think he's a good guy. Second observation: he does not speak any English. Maybe just a few words, but not even that, at that time. He doesn't seem too bright, and Leila had to guide him to stand and clap. He also had no interest in Adam's performance. I was a little shocked by that. Neil and his girlfriend/now wife were there, and they are adorable together. A very sweet couple. They were oozing love and chemistry. They were friendly with Sauli, but they didn't really speak to him, I guess because of his lack of English. Leila was tiny and beautiful and you can tell she's very smart and competent. The most telling thing about the evening was at the end when the family went down on the stage to greet Adam. Adam did not acknowledge Sauli, who stood uncomfortably to the side. That was very strange. Granted, it was right after the Finnish fiasco, so there could have been a problem there, but there has always been something off for me about their relationship. I've always imagined Adam would need someone smart like his family, someone he can have a lively conversation with, and more importantly, someone who loves music and creativity as much as he does. Brad seemed to be his equal in that respect, and the type of guy who would keep him interested and on his toes. And then there are all those blind items throughout the years (from that guy who's been in the news lately because he's had blind items about Weinstein, Lauer and Spacey way before they were in the news) about Adam and someone else who shall remain nameless. If you're interested, I have them tucked away for a rainy day. This guy hangs out at Saint Felix in WeHo. The place that employed Drake for years. I've always had a feeling that Drake and Adam (and others in their circle) were supplying this guy with info. He doesn't out people, but his blind items about old Hollywood are doozies. One thing I know for sure, Adam shows us what he thinks we deserve. We've seen glimpses of the real Adam, but not the whole beautiful thing. And that's how it should be. I am here to put the random puzzle pieces together and to remain as objective as possible. Because he changed my life, in a way, when I needed it. DIMINISHMENT MUCH? |

My thoughts about the "Sauli topic." Sauli certainly isn't always the focal point of conversation here. He comes and goes as Adam meets up with him somewhere, either in LA or somewhere on tour. I enjoy the Sauli talk and I realize it's just fan gossip and speculation. All harmless, IMO. As others have said, Adam shows us want he wants to show us. No more. If their relationship is romantic, we don't see it. We see two close friends. Maybe they are "friends with benefits," maybe not. I enjoy seeing Sauli in Adam's life from time to time. Doesn't seem like Adam is actively seeing anyone else. I love knowing that the singer I love most is a good person surrounded by a loving family and friends. Makes him a quality person in my book. Never boring. I'm always learning something new from him about life and love and music and the world at large. If Sauli is a part of it from time to time, I'm ok with that, too.
