Should have put a smiley face with wink after my last sentence. Bet it is JCS too.

I'll make some mashed potatoes from way back in November. Adam is following twitter.com/davidleveaux now. Don't know when he started following, but it's pretty recent I think. David Leveaux @davidleveaux Theatre and Film Director. The Exception @tribeca and #RosencrantzAndGuildensternAreDead, #OldVic #OVRandG Now at the time it didn't seem to mean much but here is his twitter bio now.

Put me on the team: Hope that Shoshanna is still involved with Adam.
Never understood all the complaints. Adam's career has always been the unusual way, in that he takes a certain step or does something and for some reason or another it does not work out, and it seems like every door gets slammed into his face. And then, all of a sudden, a door opens up and he gets an opportunity and he rides a new wave to bigger and greater success, and it was utterly unconventional, but it happened, and now he is at a next level.
That is why the regular comparisons with the average pop star usually end up so hopelessly off for Adam. His career is moving forward without following some standard promotional program. In fact, most things that Adam ever started because they were the next logical step for a pop star, end up meaningless. It is the special and unusual that propels Adam forward, not the planned or well-trodden path.
So, if that is who Adam is and how his life has always been, then what is a PR person supposed to do with that? Plan something and be prepared, sure, but otherwise go with the flow, because you can be guaranteed that it will come differently than you think it will.
To the extent that PR is prevention of trouble, Shoshanna has never failed him. To the extent that PR is building the artist brand and reputation, she capitalized on what his career gave her to work with. 7 years on, Adam who started out being treated as a joke or some fodder in the UK in 2009 and 2010, is now a well known artist, who is mostly known for being the present frontman of Queen. He is at a completely different level. Did that fall into her lap? Of course it did, nobody would pretend any differently. But she did what was right to kick the pebbles forward and I trust she would do that going forward too.
Now, what I do think that Adam could potentially use, is a bit more PR representation in the US, but in UK, he is fine, imo. But, I would think that this would be more up to his management team to discuss and decide that with him. And they are not talking (which probably is good overall, but also leaves us with no information to go on).
I think that Adam has been in the business long enough now, that he will have a grasp on what he wants to do. He has plenty of friends whom he can ask, if he wants to accelerate the publicity level in his life. But just one question: How do we even know that Adam wants that? Maybe he is quite happy to not be on the fastest of those 'fame-trains'. Maybe, he likes working away at building his career the way it is going. It sure is working fine for him.

On the Playmobil movie a week seems a long time for a song and for the director of the film to be so involved. There is almost no info out there, only one actress announced, so who knows it could be a musical. But the director did tweet back in August that he'd spent a great week working with actors/actresses in LA. Adam was in town at the time, I can't see on twitter that he's given us any clues about it. If he is singing this is the guy who's writing the songs for it. www.heitorpereira.com/music.phpAnd I will add that Adam and the Vocal Contractor, Jasper Randall, for the show do know each other. Adam is listed on his ASCAP bio www.ascap.com/eventsawards/events/sundance/2012/bios/jasper-randall

Adam is no longer with Shoshanna is all I know. I don't know or need to know why. So I have no opinion if it is a good or bad thing. But if it was his choice, he had his reasons. The same with her. But I have no doubt he can find good representation when he wants and needs it. There must be some in LA (or someplace else) who have an international reach and would know how to represent him. There are many stars who are not represented by her so he will be fine.

Probably, he no long thought he needed a publicist since the Queen team was handling the QAL PR and WMG has an internal PR department.

She also wrote the music and lyrics for Waitress, a Broadway musical, about her unhappy marriage. No, it wasn't about her marriage. It was based on a movie from 10 years ago. She wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway adaptation though. Sara is not married. Waitress is one of my favorite movies. It was written by Adrienne Shelly who was murdered. If you have never seen it, I highly recommend it. From Wiki: Adrienne Levine (June 24, 1966 – November 1, 2006), better known by the stage name Adrienne Shelly (sometimes credited as Adrienne Shelley), was an American actress, film director and screenwriter. She became known for roles in independent films such as 1989's The Unbelievable Truth and 1990's Trust. She wrote, co-starred in, and directed the 2007-released film Waitress, which ultimately won five awards. In late 2006 Shelly was the married mother of an infant daughter and was waiting to see if Waitress would be accepted for the Sundance Film Festival.
On November 1, 2006, Shelly was found dead, hanging in the shower of her Greenwich Village work studio apartment. The initial examination of the scene did not reveal any suspicious circumstances, and police apparently believed it to be a suicide. Her husband insisted she would never have taken her own life, and brought about a re-examination of the bathroom that disclosed a suspect footprint. Police arrested a construction worker, an illegal immigrant from Ecuador who confessed to killing Shelly and making it look as if she had committed suicide.
Shelly's husband established the Adrienne Shelly Foundation, which awards scholarships, production grants, finishing funds, and living stipends to artists. In her honor, the Women Film Critics Circle gives an annual Adrienne Shelly Award to the film that it finds "most passionately opposes violence against women."
***
A stage musical has been written, based on the film. ... The music and lyrics are written by Sara Bareilles, with the book by Jessie Nelson.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLdXVucTFSwwww.youtube.com/watch?v=rEXhAMtbaec LOVE SARA!!! So happy that they go for people who sing consistently great live! I guess ALW is really at the helm of this. Been a fan of hers since I first heard her hit "Gravity" in 2009 on the tv show Vampire Diaries. "She used to be mine" is my favorite song of hers among many others. It is from her musical Waitress. This cast is amazing! They will complement each other. If I was like 70/30 before, now after Adam started following Tim Rice and Alice Cooper...I'm like 99% sure. They are having a little fun and generating buzzzz as I can see the press already knows cause they did release prepared articles right away after each new announcement. PS Adam helped with an arrangement gave her song "Brave" to Amalia to perform on X-factor Australia. He too likes her music www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUQsqBqxoR4www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sn-81D38K4
