THIS!! Thank you, cookie! ITA -- really, the only major craziness has been Kradam (which seems to be dead now) and Adommy (many of the Kradam people). I do not recall any major issues when Drake and Adam parted. Nor do I think there will be any if/when Adam and Sauli part. I honestly think that 99%+ of fans just want Adam to be happy and live the life he wants. Not to rehash or prolong but I recall the Drake thing as being a big deal to a lot of fans - they hated him (and his "Cajun" family) and there was rejoicing when the relationship ended. I can't even remember how many times I would say to people (especially in Chat) that I refuse to judge Drake because I don't know him (or his family). That it was up to Adam as it is his life. Adam should know if this guy is a bad person or not and whether or not to associate with him; I'm just a fan. I think Drake and his family caught a lot of grief from fans as well - direct tweets and such for whatever reasons. Look, I'm not saying this to open up a discussion or refute anyone's POV. That seem to be my recollection but I could be wrong and it was not as widespread as my memory tells me. That's all I'll say about that - on to more pleasant subjects.

Have you ever noticed that Adam always adopts something from the person he is hanging with. With Drake it was muscle shirts, with Kris it was plaid shirts, with Tommy he cut his hair to match Tommy, with Sauli he wants tattoos. What next? Oops, I forgot, I am not suppose to notice or comment on what he does with his life. Sorry. My bad. What next? Well, let's see, because of JL's influence, he'll star in a remake of Born Killers (now THAT would be an against-type acting role!) and...that ornery MC will probably make him start hitting the salvia bong! That about cover it? ;D

Didn't he once say that if he wasn't an entertainer he might have gone into psychology? Looks like he's doing both. And doing a fine job of it too. He said social work (which made me do a little cheer because I am one myself). I would love to have Adam be part of a club I belong to! He's said psychology too, more than once. EmoElvis.... Drake got a lot of hate, you are correct.

The problem with Drake wasn't when they broke up, it was all of the people who didn't want them together in the first place. He might fall on my "less interesting" list, but the meanness directed at him while he was with Adam was unwarranted.

We need that 'popcorn and drink' smiley ... I can't remember who posted it. ;D I had to leave and just got back and saw this smiley!! Aww...THANKS! CASSIE! I love that smiley. It would be great to add it to the smiley list we'd like to add! Being Adam fans we are entertained on a regular basis!! And please reassure me that they don't do tattoos on lips...no..no...not Adam's beautiful freckled lips!

I will do my share of mourning too Now reassure me that one cannot tattoo over gorgeous enticing lip freckles. :-/ I'm no tattoo expert but I think the lips are safe! Shhhh, don't put a curse on it. I'd need counseling if the lip freckles were covered up.

I think it's great if Cook is getting the boot song. He has a new album to promote and if that helps wonderful. (Seems likely.) Some Idol boot songs have been hits, others not so much. Usually, there is an immediate sales spike from the exposure then it drops back. Daughtry had a big hit with "Home" which was a boot song but hard to say that was due to Idol. It had a ton of radio airplay too. Other boot songs have been cover songs and Carrie did her's for charity. Ruben's cover song was a cover of "Celebrate Me Home" and was the AI7 Top 12 boot song -- didn't help him much or sell much. (Did not chart.) Cook has many more fans that Ruben had in 2008, but there is no magic in getting the boot song. Hopefully, Cook gets a showcase performance of the book song. That would work well for him. Regarding Aftermath (or any Adam song) as the Idol boot song, I do not think this would be great for Adam right now. He has worked so hard to more beyond Idol and to establish himself as a talented recording artist in his own right. Adam has fans from being on Idol (like me) and many fans who discovered him after Idol. I think he needs to move on. Aftermath seems perfect for The Trever Project. The message of that song, done by an openly gay artist who has been himself and still is successful commercially even in the US, can make a real different. It is part of Adam accepting his place as a role model. Probably he would sell more if it was a boot song on Idol but he's doing fine. JMHO this is one time when the song and the cause are a perfect fit. I too want to thank you, Q3, for ADAMTOPIA and for all the time and hard work you put into it. I love coming here. THANK YOU!!! Nice but unneeded thanks! I do it because I love hanging out here. And it has been fun being an Adam fan for 2 years now -- can't imagine it will ever be boring.
