Hey! I resemble that remark. Okay, Emo, I tried to make it more ~ahem accurate! (Did I spell Rubenesque right?) It does lose a little in the effort to be PC, though! Nothing wrong with your spelling, BB.

Just to be factually correct -- there is a baby picture of Adam in plaid -- taken before Kris was born. Y'all -- it is a beautiful day. We are going to have a lot of time to discuss everything Adam before we get new Adam music. Yes, we will have the new Aftermath. And the DVD. But we will not get any Adam 2 music until the Summer. So the daily news threads will be a bit loose on topic range -- I think we can handle it. But keep smiling and count your blessings -- because as fandom goes -- Adam is great to follow. - Most artists put out a new album every 2 years or so. And release singles from that. Adam has given fans a string of projects. - Most albums has 12 to 14 tracks --- and the bonus tracks are throw-aways. Adam gave us bonus tracks like Voodoo, DTRH, MasterPlan. - Most new artists get to do a 35 minute opening set for an established act and have no production at all. We got a headline tour, with production, dancers and lights. And a few surprises thrown in. - Adam is pretty open about his life, changes up his style, always has a new thought to share in an interview, and is always entertaining. - Adam has a second album with RCA with a big budget and a bigger advance than he got on his first album. He has creative control and seems to be more secure now than for FYE. I think it will be a great album. I could go on but my point is simply.....count your blessings. He is an amazing artist and man. I feel really blessed that we all got to meet him and I will always that Idol and the Universe and whatever spirits converged to create the perfect storm call ADAM for that. ;D

So Adam is getting more tattoos again now? I saw a vid from, I believe, Japan recently where the interviewer asked Adam why he didn't get another tattoo with rest of GNT crew. His reply was that he hadn't come up with anything meaningful yet. It seems Adam really likes each tattoo to carry personal meaning for him, and that his tattoos often seem to represent significant feelings and experiences in his life. The Egyptian one before Idol was for safety, the infinity tattoo mirroring his energy exchange with audiences... It will be interesting to see what he chooses for his next tattoo and what it symbolizes for him. My son has two tattoos. One is a circle on his forearm that he and his band mates all got symbolizing their friendship and support for each other. The other is a custom tattoo he designed himself. It is a keyboard /treble clef that wraps around his shoulder, and it is really very beautiful. Okay, I didn't think so at first. Originally, like Leila, I tried to dissuade him from the idea of a tattoo as best I could, with my best motherly arguments. To his credit, he did wait until he was 20, and did ask, at my suggestion, his more middle aged music mentors at Berklee School of Music if they had any regrets in their middle life about tattoos they had from their early lives (none of them did,LOL.) When my son first got his main tattoo, it is black and white, and he is very fair skinned, it took me aback; okay, I actually cried for one day, haha, but now, six years later, I really honestly love it; it is so him. And it IS pretty cool. My open-minded mother, in her late seventies at the time, was fascinated and took it completely in stride. She really is all kinds of awesome. I say this just to reassure those of you who hate tattoos that you will likely get used to them soon enough. (You may even start to like them like I have, LOL.). Great post! I have asked my son (now 21) to wait to get tattooed until he knows what he wants to say for the rest of his life. (Removal is not fun, so I look at tats as permanent.) And to make sure that he pays for quality work. Beyond that I have left it be his choice on tattoos. But I have requested no nose piercings or ear flanges. You can cover up a tattoo most of the time but not your nose or ears. And this would limit his professional options. I hope my son stays unmarked but it is his body, life and choice. And I will love him as much any way he is. {Assuming he finishes college, finds a job, marries a doctor or lawyer (kidding) and lives a good, productive life. I am a Jewish mom! It is in the manual. }

NO GUYS. IF YOU LISTEN TO ONE DEATH METAL COVER OF IF I HAD YOU...THEN THIS ONE SHOULD BE IT. IT'S INFINITELY BETTER THAN THAT OTHER ONE. www.thehomeplanet.org/?p=61436IT JUST MAKES ME LOL THAT OUT OF ALL HIS SONGS, THAT THIS ONE --THE FRUITIEST EURO POP SONG--KEEPS GETTING THE DEATH METAL TREATMENT. IT AMUSES ME GREATLY. OMG! My cat was sitting on my lap and when I pressed play she glared at the computer and then kinda bristled. Guess she's not a fan of death metal I could at least listen to the full song on this one!
