Asked this question back on page 14 before all hell broke loose and I still would like to know the answer. General questions from person who knows nothing about tattoos...
Do people shave the tattooed area for display purposes?
Does the act of tattooing remove hair follicles so that it is no longer necessary?
Is it necessary to chose tattoo color based on ginger arm hair?

Thanks everyone for the concerns, I'm fine. I'm watching live footage of the earthquake on TV here and it is horrendous *sobs* This is the second MAJOR earthquake in Christchurch in the last six months. They still hadn't recovered from the last one. The last one happened in the early hours of the morning when most people were home in bed, sadly today's was at lunch time in the middle of a working day. They're saying that there probably is fatalities this time  ETA since I typed the above sentence:- Multiple fatalities now confirmed The city centre in Christchurch is in chaos and some very special heritage buildings are down. The hospital has been evacuated and the airport is closed. The terror is palable. I live in Auckland which is in the top half of the North Island. Christchurch is at the top of the South Island. This is still a national crisis tho. Am sending love and light to all affected. |

Just found out I'm going to the Prince concert tonight at Oakland Arena after all!!! Didn't think I would be going cuz I spent 5 hours at Eden Hospital earlier today with my 10 yr old nephew & his Mom and then he was transfered to Children's Hospital in Oakland - but he's fine & told me I better go & tell him all about it!! Such a little man! We thought it was his appendix - but he's gonna be fine! :D
