hey, chunkeymonkey... just wondering if thehomeplanet is planning to replace KA's face with Sauli's on the banner... or is it a Kradam place? LOL It was a kradam place ages ago but now it's more like an Adam and whoever/whatever place. I think most of the kradamites left. Lol besides if we "ship" we do it for laughs. Like we ship him with John Stamos and David Hasselhoff.....don't even ask. LMAOOOOO We do need to add Sauli to the banner. Also a plant or tree to represent the lambtree/plantberts out thur. lol. But rlly the banner is more becuase we mostly post about Adam and Kris but not really in a shipping manner anymore and if we do its just jokingly. |

I do not know what is in the 19 Recordings Contract but here is what I know.... 1. The Idols have a recording contract with 19, and 19 licenses them to a record label. Through AI9 Sony (BMG pre-merger) had the exclusive right of first refusal to any 19R Idol. 2. The Idols have a contract with their recording labels. The "license" is a mechanism to filter money to 19. 3. Recording contracts have a term. This is generally set forth as a term of years, generally one year as the initial term and a series of option periods, to be exercised or not in the sole determination by the label. It is believed that the Idol Sony contracts give Sony a 7 year term. This has never been disclosed but Kelly has said she is done after this album. That would be 5 albums. 7 years. (RCA has a reason to be really slow accepting this album because she has said she will leave RCA.) 4. RCA/Jive exercised their options for 3 Archie albums and those commitments are done. That would make it a 3 album deal. (spin, spin, spin is not just for CD's and records, it is how the music business works). 5. As far as I know, Archie is still with 19R and they have no reason to drop anyone. If Archie gets a new deal, they will still get their share.Jordin's last album had a hit single and has now sold over 700K units worldwide. Not a hit is in the US, but prob made money. Why not invest $2 million in another Jordin album? If the have a change to make money, they will do it. Also, the advance will be more modest because it is based on her last albums sales in part. Regarding Adam -- he is not in Archie's position. RCA looks at the future potential to make money. It is about far more than albums sold, that is just one way the labels make money. Adam looks like a good bet to keep generating money for RCA. Plus, he continues to put our FYE product. Look at all the ancillary revenue from just one album. It is possible that Adam has actually generated more profit to RCA than Ke$ha who sold more singles and albums. Welcome, MegGlitteryAlient!!So much 'pretty' to look at this morning from Bora Bora!! 8-) What a beautiful place...that clear blue water is soooo inviting. Glad they were able to get away and have some relaxing time together. With the paps catching on to their relationship...the adventure ahead for the two of them should be interesting. OT...I have a question...I went to my profile and noticed that I put the wrong month/day for my birthday (I have no idea how I did that). When I tried to modify it I can't find the birth date on the modifying profile page. Anyone know how to change it? |

Late last night I downloaded another Bora Bora pic. And just as I explained last night, the pic came with a magazine-ready description in the same font as other pix I downloaded that we know came from paps.
