Just want to comment on this.. is it nice to see how Adam's taste of man changes? From flamboyant effeminate Brad & Drake to manly calm Sauli. ;D Confused. ??? Would it be bad if Adam had chosen another "flamboyant effeminate" man with whom to share his life? I happen to adore Cheeks, so I'm a little annoyed by the idea that Adam's taste has evolved, and Brad and Drake are on the primitive end of the scale. Don't get me wrong--I adore Sauli too, but I really don't like the implication here. Maybe I'm reading something into it that you didn't intend--? |

I have held my tongue for weeks as posters insult Drake, Brad and all men that embrace their feminine side. That doesn't make them lesser men. I never followed Drake, but like Murly I adore Brad. Adam could do worse than two guys that kept their personal life private. That does show Adam is a good judge of character.
Didn't Adam give an interview about men who embrace their feminine side?

Wow, I can't get over those wedding pics! I just adore seeing the happy couple (Adam & Sauli, of course, not bride & groom, lol). Adam looks absolutely stunningly gorgeous... my mind is completely blown  Since these pics are from a public FB, I really didn't have a big problem with them, even before I read Q3's post above. I can't imagine that Adam would tell someone to not post pics of their own event/guests, celeb or not. He's lived his whole life in front of a camera and I think he really doesn't mind. If I know or suspect that pics are pilfered, then I might look at them (I'm only human) but I won't tweet them or post them. I think we all have our line we have to figure out. Adamme, considering how Adam has spoken about how he sees the masculine and the feminine in himself and wishes that we could all embrace both sides, I am wary of labels and placing a higher value on men who display "masculine" qualities. I think Brad and Drake were good partners for Adam at the time he was with them, and I think Sauli is a good partner for Adam now. I don't think Sauli is more of a man or that Brad and Drake were less. They are all unique personalities, and I'm sure Adam loves/d them each for who they are. Okay, gotta go catch up on right-click-saving. |

IMHO, Sauli seems to fit it in anywhere, Brad and certainly Drake, not so much. But I am not a fan of Brad's, I find him annoying, phoney and affected. Drake was just bitch-faced most of the time. Sauli just seems more socially confident and aware.....and he seems to have never met a stranger! So I agree, Adam has grown immensely in the past two years, and so has his choice of companion. So happy for Adam and Sauli !!!!

I'm sure I read almost 2 years back - that Adam preferred a younger, smaller man! Nothing about "effeminate" or "girly" man! I think we've seen that he's stuck to that in his choice of men! I think that people's OWN perceptions about Brad & Drake, make them think he has "only" preferred a more "effeminate" man! :-/ ???  ETA - I don't see it that way!!!!! |

You are giving the word "evolved" positive connotations that aren't there. If evolved means to change gradually, I don't think that's it's arguable to say that his taste in men has evolved. The end product of an evolution is not necessarily an improvement. |

I have no idea how to classify Sauli -- the only adjective I can come up with is smoldering. That is one hot man. And I think that Adam is lucky or fated to have connected with him.
ETA: Evolution is not Devolution. "devolution", "de-evolution", or backward evolution is the notion that a species can change into a more "primitive" form. Evolution = progress, advancement.

So happy for Adam and Sauli !!!! Why is it necessary to cut down others to support Sauli? I find the comment "fit in everywhere" very homophobic. Isn't that the attitude we are all fighting against? Isn't Adam working hard to educate the masses to embrace their individuality? I'm sorry if this is coming across as too strong. I am dealing with just this issue at work. I didn't expect the attitudes here. |
