Momtomany would be in sheer ecstacy. Doubt Adam is going to BM, though. Sadly, I doubt that even had he secretly planned going, he would be able to go now. There are too many fans that would move heaven and earth to go there and stan him. If he was planning to go, and then saw that twitter from the Iguana store, I bet he is about as angry as he gets....I would be if I were trying to enjoy and share one of possibly the last semi-anonymous experiences of the foreseeable future... There are tens of thousands of people that attend this event each year. I doubt Adam is going to let a handful of stalkers keep him from going to something this big. It's a big desert! Google Earth images: consciouslivingradio.org/?p2=/customcode/consciousliving/viewcomments.jsp&bid=281www.stuckincustoms.com/2010/08/24/home-of-the-tree-samurai/Good luck to the few BSC stalkers- they will have a hard time finding Adam in an area this huge. They have no idea what days he will be going or what area he will be in. I guess they can wander around miles and miles of the desert for a week looking for him. : It wouldn't surprise me if some of the crazies actually did this, but it would surprise me if the threat of this scenerio kept Adam from going.

Thank you, Iguana! www.facebook.com/pages/iguana-Vintage-Clothing/146999061852Who asked them to remove their facebook post? Was it someone from management? Was it a fan? Seems really weird! (I am having second hand fan embarrassment right now!) ETA: It was a fan! I may be completely off here, but I think that is just so wrong!

(I am having second hand fan embarrassment right now!) I don't think he would be justified in being angry unless he specifically asked them not to mention him. It is accepted practice for stores to mention celebrities who shop them - good advertisement for the store. I think the Iguana store was very gracious about the matter, especially if this was just a nervy fan complaining about their advertising. Just My opinion but some fans need to let Adam's management complain about this sort of thing if it is a problem. Fans shouldn't complain to a store owner. :(

I totally understand why people would ask the store to take the text down, while it's common for store to mention who shops there to gain publicity, it's not appropriate to announce the future supposed whereabouts of a celebrity, especially when it's obviously a personal event, and when it's a commercial store announcing it. That goes in the same category with gossip sites publishing photos with celebrities' license plates showing. Stores and other establishments should be discreet with their clientee. (Unless it's a "go here to be seen" restaurant) Use the celebrity status only for your own publicity, and the store will lose the client.

I really wish "well-meaning fans" would stay out of things they don't understand and know nothing about! I'm sure the owner of this vintage shop, where people shop for Burning Man, understands that tens of thousands attend this event. The owner has probably been to this event and knows how huge it is. www.stuckincustoms.com/2010/08/24/home-of-the-tree-samurai/From looking at a detailed map, it looks like the burning man city semi-circle is at least 10 miles from end to end. There are around 15 streets running from side to side. IF someone was crazy enough to go to this event looking for Adam, they would have to cover around 20 miles a day (at the very least) to scan the whole area. Then, they have to hope that Adam stays in the exact same place the whole week. Good luck with that! I almost hope a few unprepared crazies will attempt this! ;D
