I doubt whether Adam will be going to Burning man .. IMHO He's too famous at this point to have the experience he had in '05 .I think that was then and this is now. It's nice to dream though. What I gleaned from article .. the Vintage place was just using Adam's appearance for some good old fashioned advertising. Celebrities do go to Burning Man. The whole mantra of Burning Man is to respect the individual. I think he could go and we wouldn't get one single pic unless Adam wanted us to see one. |

maybe he'll stub his toe and have to go to the medical tent and be tended to by momtomany!! who will of course take pics for us medical records. :D YES to this!! I really think he might be going for the weekend, at least! Ya know he has to be dying to share this event with Sauli! And LOL 4ms to that article that started the rumor that it's the last year for BM! I'm so glad it was just a rumor...I only have two goals on my list-of-things-to-do-for-fun in 2012: 1) Buy tickets for Burning Man 2012 as soon as possible (the earlier you buy them, the cheaper they are) and 2) See Adam live as many times as possible with whatever fun funds I have left! BM began in 1986, the year my son was born...and I have wanted to go ever since I first read about it in the 80's. Child-rearing took precedence over everything, though...BUT NOW I'm free to be me, lol! I know my son would love it, too, so I'm working on that as a main goal for next year, which will be a ~significant one (birthday-wise) for me! And I can't think of a better goal for the year 2012 than doing something I've wanted to do for 20 years! Adam won't be there (TOURING! YAY!), but he's not the reason I'm going anyway--he was just a glint in Eber's eye when I first knew I wanted to go, and the fact that he embraces the philosophy was just one more thing that made me love him. Sat. Sept. 3rd is when the man will burn this year...and I just bought supplies to build my own $3 burning man in the chiminea in our back yard on that night! My roomie thinks I'm a little nuts--she calls me an "Adammite" :  --but she's fond of fire, too, so I do believe she'll take part in my little ceremony! ;D Their website is great if anyone wants to check it out! www.burningman.com/ |

The whole philosophy of BM supports this, I think. So, yeah, he may not go--but if he wants to, I'm sure he can, with no fear of his privacy being invaded. I hope FOR HIS SAKE he has the time to share this experience with Sauli at least once! |

Yup. Although given the costuming that goes on I'll bet he could pull it off if he wanted to. And he has enough friends that are also (presumably) attending that they could help- I'm thinking look alikes stationed at random spots There could be Adams everywhere! |

I don't think he would be justified in being angry unless he specifically asked them not to mention him. It is accepted practice for stores to mention celebrities who shop them - good advertisement for the store. I think the Iguana store was very gracious about the matter, especially if this was just a nervy fan complaining about their advertising. |
