I was joking around, but clearly you CAN fly from Hawaii to NZ via China. But you need to like China a lot to do so. No, I was not thinking that Adam is presently visiting Panda sanctuaries. Apparently this clarification was needed. And no Andrew Lloyd Webber is not going to put his seal on a production that takes the Judas songs out. No worries. And John Legend is not Donald HeWhoCannot amed, lol. He does allow other people to work with him, even if they are chanced to have the stronger voice. I have no idea how JL will handle Gethsemane, but that is his problem, at this point. As far as his persona and the rest of the singing, I can see it alright, but that one song is a killer. Never thought anyone meant China. I get the joke. But China airlines? Maybe. Except it doesn't fly direct from Hawaii. Anyway, moving on.

It looks like Neil and his family are back home. Now: Where is Adam?

I really hope that IG post isn't about the lyrics to a new song. He says this with such genuine respect all the time, and yet some hardcore Queen fans still hurl it at him like an accusation. Argh. It's nice to see, though, that some comments on YouTube are followed up a year later with a comment along the lines of: "I was wrong; I went to one of the shows, and it was pretty great." You keep on keeping on, Adam. <3 I hope it's okay to pull comments over from a thread earlier in the week... Regarding 'Running'. I really think this song got a recent boost because people search for the title looking for the Beyonce song, and they find Adam's. And at minimum, I think that Adam deserves every bit of this unintended streaming, because I think that Beyonce and her team blatantly took some of this song, and because she is big and famous, she gets away with it....so if he gets a few streams because of her, good for him. Running was such a good song, and Sony was too deaf and blind to notice. As far as doing something about those that shamelessly create sped up/ slightly altered versions and benefit with millions of views without even giving credit for the artist? Well, imo, that is what an artist normally has management for. But right now, this is not a given for Adam, until we know better, and the new team may also have other priorities than chasing down revenue, especially for the previous label. And Sony has long written off anything related to this account, so i guess, this is a wild goose chase. But you can certainly post a comment on the video, but that is about all you can do, I believe. I haven't heard the Beyoncé song, but that's frustrating if it happened that way. I noticed in some of the reviews of The Original High that they referenced how Adam was a little ahead of his time with Trespassing and that other, bigger artists took on some of the sounds that were on that record as inspiration for songs they released in the following year or so. On the one hand, it's nice that he's so unafraid to try things that people aren't always ready for, but on the other hand, it'd be nice if he could see that runaway chart success, too. 3ku1 "Runnin" is probably my favorite Adam song, too. There are so many that I really enjoy, so many earworms and some very lovely ballads. But "Runnin" always sucks me back in and takes me for a whirlwind ride. The Nightcore and Naruto fanvids are nice for exposure, but yeah... such a missed opportunity on it being a single. It's too bad he can't go back and do something substantial with it. Maybe if it was on a movie soundtrack? Seems perfect for something like Marvel or some scifi or other epic story. Anyway, I really hope this 4th album and upcoming QAL tour are knockout successes that see his follower counts spiking high and gives him some well-earned gratification. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I hardly doubt John asked the production he does not like Adam. I beleive Adam and John have meet before. I am sure they are fans of each other. So I doubt that. I well say if Adam has it. Delayed due to his change in management, seems the most likelist.

This! They can't "cut out" Judas or minimize him. He has crucial songs. And remember, ALW is involved with this production. I am still going with John has pushed hard for this promo, because once the production airs, Judas will be outstanding, no matter who he is. It truly is THE role! But Hollywood is pretty stoopid, if they see John in all the promos for 2 months, they will see him as the star & if it gets a nom at all, it will be John's. I suggested before but now i am 100% sure that the whole promo strategy is part of Legend's contract conditions - HE IS IT and everyone else is a not-so-important supporting act. at this point I lost any interest in this production tbh, and it's a real relief actually... I think you are right. Also, I think that the network thinks that John is a/the big draw. I do not buy that John is spending his time plotting to kept the role of Judas small or plotting against Adam. It is clear that Adam wants the part of Judas -- but whether he has it is a big question. I see no proof he has the part. To paraphrase a couple comments up thread -- I will be pleasantly surprised if Adam gets the part. I will not be shocked if he does not. And to just doubly agree with this post I quoted -- I will only watch if Adam is in it, and I will be relieved if he is not.

It would be so nice if a role like that could happen for Adam. He clearly loves JCS, too.
More fingers crossed!

I've been watching Behind the Mask Documentary - Phantom of the Opera. ALW and crew had chosen Steve Harley, lead singer of Cockney Rebel, to play the Phantom. He had spent about 5 months practicing the songs but they still hadn't announced him for the part.(sound familiar) ALW etal had come to the conclusion he wasn't right for the part but they didn't tell him until after ALW announced to his people he had found the right person:Michael Crawford. At the time Crawford was playing comedy on tv as a goofus. This is part 4 of the series. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBBOcYbXaFU&list=PL2AC3D3B130C227EB&index=4So no telling what ALW is thinking where Adam is concerned.
