Dancy, sounds like you went to Ticketmaster instead of AXS. We learned the other day that AXS sells the same seats at standard price that the robbing bastards at Ticketmaster sell as Premium Seating. I was on the AXS site at 10 am and first off I let it offer me the Best Seat and it came up with Section 407. Entitled fan that I am, I said to myself "I'd rather not go at all than be in that crummy seat" and rejected it and next time I told it which section I wanted to be in (as you know you can choose your own section with AXS) and put in 112, half expecting it to tell me there were no seats available in this section. But to my great joy it offered me 112 Row N, just 5 rows (there's no Row I) behind you. This will be the longest I've stayed in London since I was 12 years old and my parents took me for a week to see the sights. Since then it's always been flying visits. This will almost be like a proper holiday. Feeling so lucky and privileged to have this chance to see 3 shows so easily. Might also just be the difference between Row H and Row N. There is some row where it always switches from one price to the next. No....that's what's so crazy, Pat. Why it's all so odd. Never heard of this before ALL face value seat tickets from the very best to the very worst are the same - around £90 (edit: for all three London shows) Those seats at the back/top of the 02 are c £90....hard to believe...as are the front seats nearest the stage. The rows make no difference at all to the price!! The only seats at other prices are the production ones (platinum); not many of them and some in not great location at all.

Slightly off topic but I just read that, according to Michael Riedel of the NY Post, Luis Fonsi impressed Andrew Lloyd Weber with his vocals and charisma at a party they were attending, for the role of Judas in JCS. Also, according to the article, the role has not been cast. That doesn't sound OT at all. I have little hope now that Adam got the part. Rats. Doesn't sound good. Sure makes a difference when you've had a big hit song.

Well, that's good news, IMO.

I believe that article is the one that was discussed a week or so ago just after the Grammy’s. They seem to still be in the same holding pattern as before.

I saw different prices when I looked and most were over 200 Euros. The only ones around 90 were standing.

If this turns out to be something in the end, it will also demonstrate the difference it makes to get the opportunity to perform at major industry events. I haven't read the article, but I get the sense that Luis wasn't on ALW's radar (if, indeed, he's on ALW's radar at all) before the Clive Davis Grammy party. Who knows how things could have played out if Adam's "Let's Dance" performance had been at Clive's party this year?

Just a comment re a late post from yesterday's thread. The fella, Nadim Naaman, who commented his wife bought tickets to see Adam Lambert and they have 5 months to find a sitter...well it was a very cute post. In checking this fellow out , he is a musical theatre person who has been in Phantom of the Opera Etc. Etc.
BUT what really caught my attention was the fact that he and a woman have just scored the songs and music for a play based on the book Broken Wings.
Bringing this back to Adam---one might never know how a connection or inspiration develops for a person to write a play or songs for a play. Adam said he would consider a Broadway part if the subject was fresh/ new (my words not his as I cannot remember his exact words). I am not saying Nadim's play....just the concept of a wife taking her husband to see Adam...and a creative spark starts to fly...maybe some day.
--------- The ticket buying process is challenging enough but with multiple sellers; it paves the way for unfairness. In particular when the window opens to purchase with little to no lead time to investigate the options.
So sorry for those of you kicking into a pile of feathers right now...feeling ripped off with Ticketmaster versus AXS. I am not attending these concerts but appreciate that some have found out the diff between the sellers for future purchasing. Big thanks for bringing that process forward in the past and today. When one is not in purchase mode the steps to take whizzed right over my head the other day.
