No....that's what's so crazy, Pat. Why it's all so odd. Never heard of this before ALL face value seat tickets from the very best to the very worst are the same - around £90 (edit: for all three London shows) Those seats at the back/top of the 02 are c £90....hard to believe...as are the front seats nearest the stage. The rows make no difference at all to the price!! The only seats at other prices are the production ones (platinum); not many of them and some in not great location at all. I don't think the Platinum tickets are production tickets, or I'm not sure what you mean by production tickets. These are not the tickets reserved for the band. Ticketmaster has this little Platinum ticket scam going so that they can price the tickets for the more popular locations at "Market Value". The price of the Platinum tickets will go up or down depending on how fast they are selling. It's just another way for them to make more money off of people. For the Atlanta Elton John concert, I saw Platinum tickets in the first few rows priced at $1,300 during the pre-sale and then go up to $2,7000 during the general sale, and then the ones that did not sale went back down to $1,300 a few days later. I also saw an escalation in Platinum ticket prices during the July 2nd O2 general sale. Within an hour, more or less, after the general sale started the Platinum tickets almost doubled in price. For the July 4th O2 show, the Platinum ticket prices started out higher. At least the UK Ticketmaster lets me buy just 1 Platinum ticket. The US Ticketmaster makes you buy 2 Platinum tickets at the inflated prices. The AXS site did not have Platinum tickets and so no escalation in ticket prices. But even after repeated tries I could not get tickets for Level 1 any closer than section 110. So I bought Platinum ticket in section 112. The tickets in Level 1 rows A-H were higher than the rows further up. Thanks, Dancy I have bought Platinum several times before and it says... "Ticketmaster Platinum offers you in demand tickets direct from the artist. Our goal is to give passionate fans fair and safe access to in demand tickets." Sorry - I thought this was what you call 'Production' tickets in the US. i am still very confused by what happened to tickets and prices but all I know is that I have almost the same tickets as last time, for two shows, and whatever my Platinum tickets are, they are very much cheaper this time ... so all's well that ends well.

I doubt Adam had to audition for the role. From what I hear does not sound like they did alot of auditions. I mean I am pretty certain if they even know anything about Adams performance reputation. I think he would be obvious he would be Judas. OF course at this stage fans have assumed he has the gig. Because of assembling his follows on Twitter. And it seems certain. He has followed pretty much everyone involved in the production. I think his change of management is probably delaying an annoucement either way. Guess have to just keep waiting.

I always say that Adam takes my breath away. I think he takes Sauli's breath away, too. This gorgeous, casual photo of him from the back shows a tall, masculine, broad-shouldered physique and a classic Aquiline facial profile. He is simply a beautiful man. Apparently, it hit Sauli in exactly that way.

I don't think roles that are filled by big names really require auditions. The producers and directors know the type they want or they know the specific people they want. So they approach them and see if they want the part and if they can work it into their schedule. If Adam does not get the Judas role, I hope it's not because he was never under consideration for it. I hope that he is somehow in the mix of possible choices. That would make me feel better at least. ALW probably has the final say. He just may not know too much about Adam to begin with, although he must have heard somewhere about Adam's vocal skills. He may have other names in mind. Adam may not seem "right" to him. Who knows? In my heart, I just want to feel like Adam is right up there in the running, that's all.

They used a nice (recent) picture of Adam! mjsbigblog @mjsbigblog Watch a new #AmericanIdol 2018 video promo for advertisers that features alums @carrieunderwood, @adamlambert, @jordinsparks, @iamjhud. Watch it here. bit.ly/2EYt9pz Alums Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson are namechecked. Conspicuously left off the list? Kelly Clarkson. Could her status as a coach on the current season of The Voice be the reason? JHud is included, despite her coaching The Voice fall edition, and currently appearing on The Voice UK. Adam is at 0:25: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCPWdOlRJAIScreencap by Gelly:

I don't know 100% for certain, but I am fairly certain that by " direct from the artist" they mean NOT FROM A RESELLER. I remember reading an article that Ticketmaster instituted the Platinum tickets to help discourage the plague of scalpers from grabbing up most of the in demand seat locations and selling the tickets at very inflated prices. TM's reasoning is that if you are going to have to buy the in demand tickets at a higher price, then better to have the money go to the artists (and venue/promoter) than to the scalpers. As I remember (could be wrong), most Production tickets are not released for sell by Ticketmaster until just before the event when the artist decides they do not need the tickets. But, if I remember correctly, there are also cases where Production tickets may end up for sale at a reseller even before the general sale starts. I think Q3 may know more about how this works than most of us, so maybe she will add her input.

The N.Y. Post article from 2.1.18 about Luis Fonzi reads like a PR tidbit to me. I don't think it means much. There are dozens of reports from the C. Davis party that mention Luis but don't contain similar reports of Luis bringing down the house.
I remain in the I have no idea who will be cast as Judas. Adam clearly is interested, but I see no evidence he has it.
On QAL the missing to EU shows will be announced later after more tuc are dold.. I am tild.
