Hi everyone, Just wanted to delurk to say thanks for all the birthday greetings yesterday. I don't contribute to the threads but, I am here every day celebrating all things ADAM with you all. Thank you for all the info, photo's and the especially all the laughs, I look forward to coming here every day. People at MJs have been commenting on how beautiful it is too! ETA: Hmmm, just watched. The camera effects are cool but it is really all about selling sex, to me. I also don't like this song, maybe that's it? Maybe I am jaded?! :-/ Ummm I would HOPE the vid is sexy....the song is sexy. She basically demnds her lover make love to her doesn't she? Teh sex is totally appropriate imo. YMMV When she sings high "with YOU" I wanted to laugh and I found the video boring :-/ |

Because they're effing idiots. That kind of thing happens during every storm (at least while I lived for 25 years in S. FL). I'm surprised I haven't seen any videos of the surfers yet. There have been a bunch of stories about the die hard surfers here on LI. If you want to catch a big wave, go to Hawaii for god's sake. The beaches are officially closed and there are no life guards on duty. Be stupid at your own risk, I guess. Another one of the most stupid things to do is having hurricane parties. A bunch of people go to someone's house and get rip roaring drunk/high/whatever during the storm just for the stupidity of it. Yea, they're really ready to handle anything the storm brings their way. Alrighty. Heading back outside to enjoy this glorious sunny day. Yes, there is usually a calm before the storm. |

If anyone is interested in a good book: Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult. Probably most of you have read it. It has been out awhile, and I have waited months on the reserve list at the library. Finally got it, and I couldn't put it down. Cried my eyes out at the end. Really well written. That's the book with the Adam mention!  |
