Actually this tweet kinda makes me have some warm and fuzzy feeling about him hahaha. I think the exact same thing.

True! Let me rephrase: 21 is the album of the last ten years. It will be hard for an album to come along and beat this one, but it could happen. Didn't 21 just knock Swift's album sales record off the pedestal? I have to be in the mood for Adele's album as well, but I can't deny the talent this young woman has. Her lyrics and haunting melodies, along with her unusual and masterful voice are obviously appealing to a large demographic of music listeners around the world. That girl struck gold with this album! I don't know if she will ever have an album like this one again. I would feel safe in betting that this will be the album of the year, as far as sales numbers and industry awards go.

Wow 3 singles sounds like he has not picked the first single yet. There are 3 potential first ones. Yeah to no Bull dog I think Adam is not a follower and will do his own thing. I'm kinda disappointed - I thought the idea of working with Bull Dog Pit Bull was interesting. But regardless, if he had worked with Bull Dog, Pit Bull he would not have been a follower anyway - he would have been his own man doing what he chose to do. Just curious - how do SuBo's sales compare to Adele's?

I'm kind of excited that I have no idea what to expect on this album. I hope he is successful in stopping leaks...

Rap R&B fusion is getting way past its use by date... has been around for years and it seems that all the major artists have taken their run at it on their last albums and are moving on. I don't see Adam "following" that - would make him seem very me too and he is not that. Just my uninformed opinion.

I'm far from a fan of Adam Levine's but I agree that he has a point about MTV.
My opinion FWIW, which isn't much, is that Adam would have been a follower with a Pitbull collab since everyone is doing it and it's the IN thing to do. Unless...said collab would have been something totally different from all the other Pop/Rap collabs.
