My Perspective on the new info about Adam's album

Although Adam did provide some information in his Twitter Party, he gave no insight into the promotional plans for his single and album. He did not reveal the title. He really said very little. But we did learn 3 big things:
1. Adam is not done with the album yet.
Adam is a perfectionist. We know this from how he managed the Acoustic Live EP and Glam Nation Live CD/DVD. I remain impressed with his persistence and his commitment to his vision.
Once again, Adam is refining his music before it is release.
OK with me. I want this album to be great and greatness just does not happen it requires relentless commitment and massively hard work.
2. There is no release date for the album yet but that doesn't mean much.
For anyone worried about the lack of a release date for Adam's album, remember November and December are still far away. There are only 3 major albums announced for November releases across all the major labels, and no Mid-November releases have been announced by any major label yet.
The best release week in the US is Thanksgiving week -- it contains the biggest shopping day of the year, the Friday after Thanksgiving AKA Black Friday. Since the "invention" of Music Monday in 2009, the major labels release many albums on Monday rather than on Tuesday because stores are closed on Thanksgiving. And because this the the biggest sales week of the year, all the major labels are itching to get their big names out there resulting in many albums coming out on Monday instead of the usual Tuesday.

The mid-October single release would fit with either a late-November or December album release. So although Black Friday week would be great, there is nothing to indicate that it will or will not be the release week.
3. RCA is not playing around with release dates; Adam hasn't finished the album yet.
Once Adam finishes the album or gets close, RCA will schedule the release. That is how it usually works. There are some online posts and Tweets that indicate that people are messing around with Adam but that does not make sense when you consider Adam's tweets. (see below)

The highlights…
Adam started out with a statement that seemed to indicate that his purpose was to deliver a bit of news about the album “the new album is sounding amaaaazing! I promise it's worth the wait!!”
Lead single will be released in about 8 weeks. Album has no release date yet.
Album will have 12 tracks. Deluxe version will have more tracks.
