I'm so laughing at Gaga right now, as her alter-ego presenting the award to Britney Spears.
ETA: wow how young are these girls doing this Britney tribute..
And yes I agree with you Chunkey, was thinking along the same thing, was just laughing and shaking my head at Gaga haha

But the thing with me about Gaga, is that it seems that she built her career off of being shocking in addition to her music, that people expect to see her do something shocking every time she appears/sings/performs. Now she just have to try and be more and more shocking with every new appearance/song/performance, to the point that it's just, yawn inducing. Only can be so shocking till people get tired of it. I think Adam's art is authentic. He is always ADAM,no alter egos. I'm not shocked by him,I'm shocked by others being shocked by him. I just find Gaga annoying with all the crazy OTT egg and stuff. I saw her Show on HBO and she was totally &unbelievably talented .She did two hours with barely a five minute break and she didn't use all the crazy props . It was her,the music the dancers and sheer talent. The only time I really liked her.JUst sayin... Lately, Gaga has reminded me of a Sunday newspaper cartoon I saw a long time ago. I tried to find it but couldn't soooo.... here is the verbal version: Frame 1: A chameleon walking through the forest, it walks
Frame 2: In front a plant and turns green
Frame 3: In front of a tree and turns brown
Frame 4: Passes a box of crayons on a picnic blanket, turns to viewer with consternation
Frame 5: Blows up I worry Gaga is like that. Like the chameleon it is her nature to change her persona but the pace seems to be getting faster and faster. If she is not careful she might explode trying to keep up with expectations. |

BFTP VXIVIX  still loving BFTP even in its short form. Gives me more time to notice details like how Adam is checking out the guy straightening his tie. A little head down cocked to the side under the lashes glance. I wonder if Adam was trying to be subtle. It would have worked if not for the gif. Seems that photo shoot was forever ago. Oh, and hated the bow tie. Also, in spite of Adam's tweet, not into Jared Leto's "dress." It looked like a nightshirt. |

I saw the RVs driving in, maybe my dad will let me borrow his next year. I could put loud speakers on top and play Adam music ... you guys could come ... we could make the kool-aid and pass it out so that resistance would be futile ... our theme could be Wise Women Rock or old glamberts can party too. |
