Could RCA be holding Adam's album to a week to get a #1 opening? Had he released FYE any other day than black Monday he would have opened at #1. I have been continually surprised at the articles that state "FYE #3 opening". TFM was released Oct. 20th (Really the 19th Happy B-day to me). Even the hard core fan base was confused by which single to support by the time the album was released. Do we know of any releases scheduled for Thanksgiving week? When is Scotty releasing? That occurred to me also. I just checked and Scotty's is out October 4th supposedly. SuBo's is due out November 29th. I must say, I really really hope that's NOT Adam's release week. I just couldn't bear another year of hearing about how her sales blew everyone else (including Adam) out of the water.  |

They rushed that album out so that her whole "Cinderella Story" was fresh in the publics mind - it has now been 2 years and it isn't that compelling anymore. The people who bought it just because they felt sorry for her and wanted to "help" won't be buying it this time. It is possible you mght get folks buying it as an Xmas gift for Grandma - but if Grandma hasn't been raving about how much she loved #1, maybe not. |

Hey Topians!
Just checking in from the Playa. I can access the internet occasionally, and I just saw the 'live stream' posted - - - DH and I rode our bikes past the scene only minutes ago! A little windy and dusty in the afternoon; and hot! The art is beyond description. Saving mementos for Hoopla!!
Came in on Saturday evening. The line was longer than we expected; but the sunset and the summer evening provided a glorious backdrop. Everyone was outside their campers/cars/trailers and we were all so excited!
Yes; our vehicle was inspected; as all are. The greeters were the best part - - they came for only one purpose - - - to welcome us home. Tears of joy!
Want you to know I'm lurking as I can; but - if it is to believed - I can hardly find time to check in; this experience is so absurdly, outrageously, full of love and joy and discovery and brilliance!
Time to go out and play again!
