I am still catching up and just watched Gaga and Britney. I think that Gaga/Joe must always need to be the center of attention. The whole thing seemed really contrived to me.
I really want the Gaga circa 2009 back.

RCA/Sony -- only cares about profits and total revenue, not chart placement. I disagree. Labels do care about chart placement because having the #1 album on the BB200 chart is promo inandofitself. That chart is published in numerous publications as well as often mentioned on entertainment programs. So while their ultimate goal is profits and revenue they are fully aware that thinking about album placement and releasing to optimize that placement can help in their long term goals. The earliest Adam could have possibly released is early October given his schedule. FYE sold 198K opening week: Weeks when Adam would've been #1 in 2009 - 10/10/09 - Peral Jam #1 with 189K 10/17/09 Barbara Streisand #1 with 180K 10/24/09 Michael Buble #1 w/ 131K 11/7/09 new Moon soundtrack #1 w/ 153K 11/28/09 Bon Jovi #1 w/ 162K Then the numbers dropped again in January 2010 making it logical to think Adam would've debuted at #1 any of those weeks too. Anything in the top 10 is pretty damn great IMO. But having a #1 is bragging rights. Hard to degrade an album, no matter the sales, if it lands at #1. JMO. |

I really want the Gaga circa 2009 back. I agree Q3. Fame/Fame Monster Gaga was OTT but in a unique and fun way and Bad Romance was the last music video I liked. "Ripping off Madonna" Gaga is just to much and Joe is not that special TBH. |

Alrighty, but so good and nice to hear Adam talking and laughing with friends. With all of these appearances and programs slotted to come on around end of Sept., Oct., and Nov, it'll be almost a waste for the album and single to not come out around those times.
Just my fan-hat talking and probably unreasonable too, but I want Adam to have lots of promo, as in lots of appearances and performances almost everyday/week leading up too, during, and after album and partially single releases. Really want the market to be saturated with him for those that probably have forgot about him after idol, casual fans that don't' know what he has been up to lately, people who aren't aware of him, etc.
A lofty dream, but I can dream right?

Hope everyone here is following twitter.com/saulissquirell. Sauli is hilarious, (as the squirrel) and the pictures of the squirrel are really adorable. Sauli gives some insight into the domestic life of our boys as well. "Saulissquirrel" isn't Sauli tweeting. I remember reading that this account was set up by a fan, but I'm sorry, I can't remember who it is. Whoops, I see you have already answered my question, SORRY! |
