that picture of Adam in the blue turtleneck IS cute! BLUNT of Adam to post the words he underlined in the book. Clear opinion on the business. As for the new management: Yes the bio is poorly written but I'm 100% sure Adam knows the business and knows what he's doing, did his research and didn't take this step lightheartedly. girldrummer your last post made me laugh. Whenever Adam says he's not much on country in my head I go: "WHAT! You don't like Crystal Gale??!!!" But I figure for some Americans country is what "Schlager" (Helene Fischer for example (Adam has sung with her)) and the likes to Germany. It used to be something for people like my grandma and now it's this cross-generational thing. I just can't deal with it. I can imagine those songs are BEAUTIFUL to sing, but I just can't listen to them. Not that artists in that genre aren't GREATLY talented. I think Helene Fischer is VERY talented but she sings everything in the SAME DAMN WAY! To give and idea of how big Schlager is said Helene Fischer is touring 13 cities in Germany with 5 shows on 5 consecutive nights in each city (read that her stage takes 30h to set up). There is ALWAYS a "Schlager-Show" on TV. The same show was once broadcast on THREE channels at the same time. P.S.: On a topic long passed: I absolutely fell down the rabbit hole with Call me by your name. Armie Hammer and Timothy Chalomet are such sweethearts! They are so funny, smart, intelligent and entertaining in interviews. The movie is beautiful of course. Downloaded the e-book and read it almost in one sitting. Parts of it were like I would imagine 50 shades to be written. ^^...The ending of the book is SO strong. It hit me really hard. I ordered the book and it arrived yesterday. Can't wait to start reading it!!! I remember that Adam posted on IG or Snapchat about the movie.

It hit me really hard. while he almost certainly reflects and appreciates the sentiments, he did not underline the words in the book. That is an art installation of someone’s take of a book of satire and provocation. Here: news.artnet.com/opinion/frances-stark-whitney-900266 and here: www.theguardian.com/music/2017/apr/24/frances-stark-magic-flute-dj-quikis a bit more info. Marionm, I not sure if my post made you laugh because you liked it or didn't like it, but anyway, at least you read it and it was pretty long. BTW, I am not familiar with Schlager, so thanks for bringing her to my attention. I don't remember when Adam sang with her, which is unusual for me. (I DO know who Crystal Gale is.) I am NOT a country music fan in any way, shape or form. Of course there are certain songs here and there that I like. That's true of every genre. But in general, country music is not my thing. And yes, there are some very talented country singers. No doubt about that. And I also loved Call Me By Your Name. It was a beautiful, sweet, natural love story that ended with the harsh realities of real life and decisions that gay people often have to face. I loved it. Armie and Timothy were perfect.

girldrummer because I liked it! The situation you have with country in the US reminded of the situation we have here in Germany with Schlager. Adam and Queen performed with her on her Christmas show 2014 to promote the tour 2015. They sang WWTLF together and later they did IWIA without her.

I just didn't remember her name. it was an absolutely stunning duet of WWTLF. Two great voices! Thank you for reminding me. And I'm glad you laughed because you liked my post!

Cute pic of Adam....I love him, the goof. Just wanted to say thank you to any and all that post and carry the conversations forward....I so appreciate your contributions. Work has been unbearably stressful the last 6 months or so, layoff after layoff. I've lost all my coworkers from the last 20 plus years. I'm not sure how I managed to survive, I'm thankful, but yet sad that all my friends at work have gone. I look in here several times a day just for the diversion, and so appreciate every video, every pic, and every comment. You guys are helping me stay sane. I know I don't post much, but honestly, at the end of the day I feel like I've been through a battle and it's hard sometimes to find the words to contribute to the conversation, especially when the conversations have long moved on. You are all appreciated I'm sorry to hear that you've been going through a tough time. Co-worker relationships are unusual. They often know more about your daily life than your family and friends do. Unless you make a point of getting together outside of work, the relationship can end abruptly. I hope you're getting lots of support to see you through this.
