I love that Adam is very aware and focused on the energy exchange with the audience and the fact that he talked about structuring an emotional through line for the show was great. This shows that he is aware of the ability to change the energy of the crowd. To me the best most gifted entertainers can transform that energy. This is something that I think has been a huge part of U2's massive live reputation. People speak of their concerts as cathartic, religious, spiritual, transcendent, etc. A U2 concert is not something you watch, it is something you EXPERIENCE. I think this is what Glam Nation was also, much more an EXPERIENCE than simply a concert. The most interesting to me was even though there were MANY complaints about the wait for Adam to come on stage and many times when the crowd was noticeably angry about it, the second Adam was spotted coming out the energy shifted instantly back to positive. I've seen artists win crowds back after pissing them off but I've never seen it happen that instantly. Many attendees also commented on being angry but that emotion disappearing instantly once he hit the stage. Bono often talks about how music can "change the temperature in a room" and he speaks of the power that can be felt when he and his bandmates take the stage together as opposed to separately because of their long history together. It is an amazing thing when someone's presence so dominates a room as to change the atmosphere completely. It gives me chills to think what Adam's presence will feel like 10 years from now given how powerful it already is. Rihannsu - I've really enjoyed all the things you've posted about U2 and the U2 fandom. I wouldn't really say I'm a fan; I like some of their music, and Bono certainly is an interesting character, but you've made me want to know more. The ups and downs of a long career, the business side of making music, the relationship with fans over decades, the craziness of fame; lots of food for thought for its own sake and how it might someday relate to Adam. Really interesting.

Mr_S*&@^#r_T Terrance D. S*&@^#r Im gonna sing wdywfm by my Bestie @adamlambert wish me luck Mr_S*&@^#r_T Terrance D. S*&@^#r Yes WWFM LOL love ya guys! ETA for those who don't know Terrance is auditioning for the Voice. Wow, that's really great! Best of luck to him! I wonder what made him choose The Voice, as opposed to The X-Factor or even AI. Given his skill set, I thought he might be more suited to The X-Factor, given its emphasis on total performance and the production values it provides for its contestants. Maybe he figured there would be less competition with The Voice? {shrug} ETA: Just watched the video. He has a beautiful voice!

Maybe he wanted to be judged just on his voice. But he is gorgeous, so no need to have those Voice chairs turned around at all!

Isn't it amazing how much hate these lovers of Jesus can generate. What would these bigots do if Jesus ever did come back and professed his love for all living things. We can only imagine how his acceptance of all and his loving nature would be received. Probably about the way they were received 2000 years ago. :( Also, jazzrocks, thanks for the love!

Terrance has been in a number of musicals here in LA -- he was in the ensemble (with Adam and Brooke) of Wicked and this year he was in Twist, a new musical based on Oliver Twist. So he's done a lot of singing (in addition to dancing), but I don't think he's ever pursued a singing career like Adam. Will be interesting to see what happens. And yes, it would be pretty funny to see Levine's reaction, especially if he has another WTF moment.
