Mia and Zinnia - Thank you so much for doing Sauli Central! I am a huge Sauli fan and an ever huger fan of them as a couple. From what I can tell, it seems SK is perfect for AL. Sometimes I have a couple of questions about the translations. Would this be an okay place to ask them or to just discuss the content of SK's blogs or Tutka's? For instance, I was wondering what SK was saying when he started swaying back and forth in the last Tutka? (7:20) It kind of looks like he was embarrassed or nervous about what he was saying. Also, I'm not really clear what they mean when they say he "lost his nerve" and decided to come back a little early (what? a day or 2 only, I think) It sounds like it means more than "changed his mind" but maybe that's it. ( not criticizing - I admire you guys' skills sooooo much!!!!!) Things seem to be very good with the 2 of them now as a couple and I love it that SK communicates with us - through you guys. Thanks again! Aww, you're welcome! Glad you're enjoying our work. This page is meant for both comments and possible questions or other stuff related to Sauli Central, so absolutely, yes, if you have questions, just post them here! We try to answer as soon as possible - if we know the answer! ;D In the latest Tutka, around 7:00 and a bit onwards from there, Katri and Sauli talk about how Sauli spent his Christmas. He's talking about how much he enjoyed spending time with his nephews and how disappointed he was about the no-snow situation. So nothing really special there, maybe he was just a bit tired of talking about Christmas because of all that happened. About losing his nerves: Sauli actually uses several times the words "menettää hermot" which translate to "lose ones nerves", so that's why we used it. This is just my opinion, but I think that they decided to come back a bit earlier for two reasons: first, because of the weather, and secondly, because of all that happened before Christmas. I think they were really tired and wanted to have some time just by themselves to really relax and recover from everything. Like I said, this is just how I feel and I might be totally wrong... Anyway, everything seems to be fine between the boys, which is great! Hope this helps!

In the most recent tutka Sauli refers to his "first of May" glasses a few times. I see that the sunglasses look silly on him. what is the 1st of May in Finland like? I certainly heard of May Day celebratrions when I was a kid. We never did much here, just left baskets of flowers or treats on friend's doorstep. I don't think anyone here in the states do anything anymore. thanks.

I guess losing his "nerve" in this case was kind of like losing his momentum or resolve. Just as you have said. The swaying made me think the topic at that point was touchy, and yes, Christmas would explain that. Can' t blame the guy. So great to be able to come here an comment and ask questions. Certainly don't mean to cause more work. I'm sure no one will be pushing for a quick response. Any response at all it wonderful! Thank you.

I don't think anyone here in the states do anything anymore. thanks. Vappu, or 1st of May, is a carnival type festival startiing already in the evening of April 30th. People gather together to have fun, many even dress up in funny costumes, and that's why Sauli was referring to his glasses as "1st of May" glasses. And since it's a carnival style celebration, it also involves eating and drinking, sometimes lots of both... ;D Typical things to eat and drink during Vappu are sima and tippaleipä. Sima is typically homemade mead, and tippaleipä is a sort of a funnel cake. You might remember that Adam actually got to taste both of these during an interview while he was doing Promo in Helsinki in 2010 - there is even a video of this! He was here just at the right time! ;D 1st of May is a public holiday in Finland, and weather permitting, people go out on picnics and such. It's also a way of starting the spring, even though many times it can still be pretty cold at that time of the year... : Originally May Day was related to what in the America is called Labor day, but nowadays the celebration has changed more towards just a day of having fun. There are, however, political events on May Day, which include speeches and marches organized by different political parties. For most of the people, however, it's just a day for celebrating and enjoying the company of your friends.

I think Sauli has done some modelling back in Finland as "advert model". The profile was still there in the modelling agents web-pages while ago. Now couln't find it anymore. And for American fans I can tell, that in questions/answeres blog Sauli answered questions asked in english in english! So you don't have to be finn to ask And I apologise my english isn't perfect. Haven't been writing for a while. Hope you understand tho.. He's still on their pages. Googled these two: www.clamos.com/mallit/miehet-mainos/saulikoskinen.htmOn Fashionteam his link is Celebrities now www.fashionteam.fi/index.html?n=7776&cid=1057&cat_show=550Can someone who reads Finnish help me out -- does that say shoe size is 46? That would be size 11 or 12 in the US. Just wondering. Looks like these were from 2007 right after he won Big Brother. (I apologize in advance if I am wrong because these Finnish sites are tough for Americans and Google Translate is useless for Finnish.) Did they result in much work for him? If I set aside the fact that I can't understand anything he is saying from the Finnish TV shows, he really seems to have some really telepresence and I would think he might be able to do something on TV in the US. ---- Can one of you provide a translation of Sauli's meatball recipe that would make sense to an American? If you can post a European recipe in English, I can translate it for American cooks. Thx. And if there is a version of this recipe that does not use onion soup mix, I would love that.

Okay ...I should be able to read better... I moved my questions to this comment section. Hope you had a good dog walk...and did Sauli run by you!!! Both Sauli and you doing the active lifestyle bit! You gals are amazing...news and numbers!!! Can you tell where the hits come from ...in country...out of country? Also...Before the Adam era with Sauli, did the Tutka vids actually really discuss news with some journalistic flavour? Or was it always light banter and some news? I think the roadshow videos in the US were more journalistic in nature but since the two are not together,(using skype) and not always watching the programs they usually watched to comment on (as they confessed in a few Tutka vids awhile back) would that worry the bosses re the integrity of the show. ....Or are the hits the important thing ...not just the journalism? Just wondering ...what, how many or who clicked onto their site in the past I guess? Edit: geez I keep editing cause I am not sure I am am sending out the right message. As Sauli has a journalist visa...is that more for the Tutka part ..versus his personal blog.. want the guy to keep his job. His shoe size is 41 Sorry, I don't know. These were after BB. I guess he hoped of some work sometime later. But in some old interview he says he didn't think he was photogenic enough to do modelling work, also not being the right size for that. He has a presence and he's very natural when you see him in person. He's done all sorts of jobs already and he is adventurous LOL. But anyway, he can work in US only for a Finnish company because of his visa status (at the moment at least). His recipe says 400 g minced meat (=hamburger meat) which is little less than 1 lb, 2 dl sour cream - that is little less than 1 cup, onion soup mix, lots of black pepper You can use 1 lb hamburger meat + 1 cup of sour cream - it doesn't make any difference . Then the soup mix & black pepper. Mix together in a bowl and roll into balls and put on a cookie sheet (on greaseproof paper) + into the oven. 400 F about 20 mins, depend on the size of the meatballs. Instead of the soup mix, one onion chopped and salt & spices according to your own taste . I think you'll need to add some breadcrumbs to the sour cream if you don't use the soup mix. The usual meatball recipe has the hamburger meat, soup mix, sour cream or cream, breadcrumbs and one egg.

Okay ...I should be able to read better... I moved my questions to this comment section. Hope you had a good dog walk...and did Sauli run by you!!! Both Sauli and you doing the active lifestyle bit! LOL Thanks it was a lovely walk . Too bad Sauli is running around the sunny West Hollywood or there abouts, instead of this wintery Southern Finland suburb! No, we can only follow the numbers. I don't know if Q3 can see where the hits come. Tutka's have always been for entertainment, the idea is to discuss current TV-programs and what's happening in them on weekly basis. Programs like Idol, DWTS, BigBrother and such. There are lots of those. They both have watched them and discussed about them. They have pretty sharp opinions most of the time LOL. But it's been pretty much like it is now, when they discuss the programs (we don't translate those parts). Only that Sauli hasn't been able to watch them all now since not all of them can be watched via web. Also Katri's been busy. But I don't think they have to worry about their jobs :D. Tutka doesn't cost much to make and it is pretty popular. Hits are always important. So it's a good thing to hit the IS site for the Tutka and watch it there if you can. We provide Youtube Tutka's for SC cause not everyone can watch it at IS site. It is always also important to give hits to his blogs. Sauli's doing the Tutka and his Hollywood blog for Iltasanomat (IS), Katri is full time entertainment journalist for the same paper. Sauli's official blog is his own - and from the hints he's given there are plans for "something" in the future. And they are planning some sort of a Roadshow for this summer too. Sorry if this is not very clear LOL, but it's getting late and I'm tired .
