Mahailia: If you open the SC and look at the index of threads, you see there is a box "views" for everyone of them. Go ahead and ask! He's been happy to get so much comments and it doesn't matter if they are in English or Finnish. He understands both. And he knows about his fans. He said he'd been answering questions about once a month, so maybe you should wait for when he next time announces he's gonna do the Q & A. No, he hasn't talked about that in his blogs or Tutkas - but probably has talked about with Adam LOL. But he's doing his blogs for his fans and for entertainment so I guess he must love us LOL. At the moment he's doing the blogs in Finnish but some time later his Official blog will probably be also in English to begin with. The Hollywood blog will be in Finnish since it is mainly for Finns anyway. (but we will translate it).

Hits are always important. So it's a good thing to hit the IS site for the Tutka and watch it there if you can. We provide Youtube Tutka's for SC cause not everyone can watch it at IS site. It is always also important to give hits to his blogs. Sauli's doing the Tutka and his Hollywood blog for Iltasanomat (IS), Katri is full time entertainment journalist for the same paper. Sauli's official blog is his own - and from the hints he's given there are plans for "something" in the future. And they are planning some sort of a Roadshow for this summer too. Sorry if this is not very clear LOL, but it's getting late and I'm tired . I'm ashamed of myself that I didn't even know you two had this lovely Q&A/comment section here at Sauli Central. This is such a great resource of Sauli-related information and thank you both SOOOOO much for all your hard work! Also, thanks for the reminder to give hits to Sauli's blogs and to IS. I haven't always been doing that because the translations are so quick, so I'll be sure to do that. I wonder if it helps Sauli to click on the advertising links in his blogs? It's funny-- I've always been a big fan of novels written from an expat perspective. I think a foreigner can really make very good observations of a society and its culture. My parents came to the U.S. at Sauli's age and I must say that he is doing a much better job at assimilating than they did, lol. Of course, he is very social and outgoing, so of course that helps. And Adam's circle seems very warm and welcoming, so that's even better.

Zinnia... 3 am! Hope you can sleep in and no little kids up at 7am! My questions were not that critical...more curiosity....but so appreciate your answers.
FOR SURE....I always hit the 3 sites, to ensure I get the "hit " for his/their efforts. Then I go back to your translation and click on your link again to his site. So some of those 3200 maybe mine =2X lol
Intially I watched every minute of the Tutka videos, especilly the roadshow ones. More recently, with the skype type videos I run the video and either watch or run it and just listen to it while checking out Adamtopia.
Your translations make the sublties of his words come to life, and make sense. Google translate ...gives a quick impression ...but IS JUST NOT THE SAME!!
Were you personally a fan of IS Tutka ? Your comment re the "sharp comments"implys that you listened to them prior to the Adam connection. Is IS a regular daily newspaper?
Now totally off topic...Do you have any clue as to why Katri spent so much time in Vancouver Canada, and stayed abroad after the roadshow was over. Is there a special man/person in her life that plays hockey, or lives on this side of the world?
NO RUSH to answer...and thanks again, stampsgal

zinnia you said that
"The usual meatball recipe has the hamburger meat, soup mix, sour cream or cream, breadcrumbs and one egg. "
I use meat, an onion, breadcrumbs , egg, lots of salt and pepper, but I roll them on flour and cook them on a fried pan with olive oil, they become crunchy and they are to die for lol.
You say that you bake them in an oven. Is this the way usually Finns cook the meatballs?

Like S said himself, it took sometime for him to get himself settled and find his own friends. Finding some Finnish friends was important I think as they'd be the ones who know the best what it is like there for a newbie and also having someone to talk with your own language is great. And Adam's circle seems to have accepted him very well .

Zinnia... 3 am! Hope you can sleep in and no little kids up at 7am! LOL don't worry , weekends tend to stretch the evening always... And no kids but dogs who want breakfast and go out for a pee around 7am :D. But I can go back to bed after that . We know there are doubles and triples, but can't separate them, so all of them count :D. I've watched it long before Adam happened. It's been fun, those two are so great together. IS is the second largest daily newspaper in Finland. No idea . We don't know anything about her private life. She mentioned Boston, Vancouver and Seattle when she was over there but she spent most of the time in Vancouver. It was an extended vacation.

Either fry them on the pan, or put them into the oven. Or first fry on the pan for a minute or two and after that put them into the oven. LOL Baked in the oven is healtier than frying on the pan since no extra fat, margarine or butter used.

I cook them and the minute I cook them, hot and crunchy they disappear lol, I don't have the time to place them on the dinner table! That's why I use olive oil and not butter or margarine but still they are not as healthy as the ones in the oven. I understand that they are healthier in the oven but I don't care , at least for now. ;D

Hello to Zinnia and Miachihu, I just wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for all the hard work you two are doing in bringing Sauli's words and persona to life with your translations. You have always said that he is a special person. The combination of the blogs/pictures/videos and his quietly dedicated and loving Finnish fans have succeeded in winning over the hearts of Atoppers world wide. You are welcome , we are trying our best.
