Just so you know, I've gone through the translations and checked the points where we had used the expression "losing one's nerves". Mostly they were in the Tutka translations, and I've changed them to "lose one's patience" since that really seems to be the more correct translation. Thanks again for bringing this up! It seems we all learn something new here every day!  |

I forgot til now to check back in and what an interesting discussion! I was thinking today while driving, that finding words to express human emotions is so challenging, and trying to translate phrases about emotions and moods is the most challenging thing of all. Not just because of different sayings that are almost impossible to precisely translate, but also because of cultural differences in what emotions are seen as positive and negative. I agree with those here who have said that "losing one's nerve" is seen in a pretty negative way in the U.S., where we make a big fuss about being tough and brave, lol. My opinion on the fans' reaction to hearing about Adam crying is that it wasn't about him showing weakness, because I think most female fans have no problem with a man crying. I feel like it was more the fact that we felt awful that he felt bad enough to cry, and our hearts hurt for him. We love him so much, and in the time we've "known" him, he really hasn't been the crying type, so this was unique and it made a lot of people sad thinking about Adam being sad. Of course, the fact that he was drunk and exhausted and jetlagged explains why his emotions were so close to the surface. Well said! |

I didn't know who lotta is so I went to twitter and discover this by her tweets: @l_otta Lotta Luolamo very inspiring day - provided by @ugomozie and @itsmedaver - thank you Do you think they are part of Sauli's modeling career? after this i went to google and search lotta luolamo and I run into saulis blog where she have explained that she also live in LA and if sauli wants to speak finnish he should contact her. No i have to say that i have too much free time :D |

She was also with Sauli and Adam in their Halloween party bus, and at Sauli's party in Helsinki before Christmas. Kristiina Wheeler you maybe know? Singer and a happy bubbly person known from TV LOL. She's done music with Crystal Snow and is good friends with him, so I presume Sauli's known her quite long too. Ugo Mozie seems to be Fashion Artist /Stylist Daver Campbell is Creative Director/ Brand Architect Let's hope we'll see the pics and find out more about the photo shoot some time -ish. |

That spinach with the red peppers and onions looks delicious. Just the thing for my diet. Sauli may have to do a health cook book for us Atop people. I would pay him for a book full of good vegetable recipes (and meatballs). That is my downfall on my diet - vegetables and how to make them tastey.
