What 8toinfinity said. You are such assets - Mia and Zinnia. Without your translations I can't imagine what this place would be like. I look forward to reading Tutka and Sauli's tapes, and Sauli's blog. I think Sauli is the dearest and most appropriate person in the universe for Adam. I love all my Finish sisters here at Atop too. It is so wonderful that they love our Adam just like the US sisters do. We can't do this without you Finn gals. Thanks for all you do. You go above and beyond what is expected from members. It is so appreciated.

Thanks once again for the translation, ladies. I guess Sauli must have a friend that lives in Anaheim. I bet it's fun for him to drop the English for a while and be able to use nuance and idioms without being misunderstood. I just saw an old video where he played a bunch of different characters being interviewed by his regular self. I couldn't understand a word, but it was really funny just to see him change behavior and dress up for each character. Someday, when he's comfortable, we'll get to hear him chat in English. It will just be icing on the cake! Haha that's one of my favorite Sauli videos ever!! ;D He's so funny I almost dropped of my chair laughing... Good old finnish jokes and it makes me happy to hear that the ones who don't understand finnish find it enjoyable too! :D (is this too OT?)

Thanks so much for the translations I was reading along and wondered what the Moomin mug was...could tell from the video it was a cartoon like character...then got to the bottom and there were the links and explanation!! I learn something new everyday and so appreciate the chance to find out information about Finland and things like this that I would never have learned otherwise! Stanning Adam and Sauli has been so educational...especially with Mia and Zinnia as our 'teachers'. So appreciate everything you do here at SC!!!

Speaking of Moomin..today is Free Comic Book day and my son-in-law who collects comics went and got a bunch of free ones and one was Moomin "Valley Turns Jungle". If it weren't for the Tutka a couple of days ago, I would have no clue about the comic book...now I'm gonna keep it...he doesn't need that one

An article from "Finn Times" about a party on May Day (May 1st) at the Finnish consulate in LA. They mention Sauli and have pics too. "Finnish Big Brother winner from five years ago and singer Adam Lambert’s boyfriend Sauli Koskinen was partying with his friends. Sauli was in great spirits and tanned as ever. I asked him, if it was a real or spray tan. Sauli then took off one of his many rings, revealing a white spot on his skin underneath. Sauli said he takes every opportunity to tan on his rooftop in the couple’s home in Hollywood Hills." finntimes.com/?p=2695The respone to the article, my interpretation. (Please note that the consulate aims to gain goodwill and positive image and to further collaboration between the US and Finnish counterparts.) She hopes that the consulate can continue its work in LA and thanks the consul for her work. She acknowledges the importance of contacts in science and technology in making Finland known in the area but thinks that Sauli Koskinen has a big influence too. She has discussed this with a friend of her's (also in the area) who has been astonished how well Sauli has reacted to the media pressure imposed on him due to Adam Lambert. He has behaved well and due to his positive and sunny personality he has reached a special position among Adam's fans, both worldwide and in the US. The press seems to always refer the couple in a positive manner which is not always the case. Also the media always connects Sauli to Finland that is quite unknown for a large part of the audience. Based on both their perceptions she claims that the impact of Sauli Koskinen is much greater than most of "Finnish celebrities" who come to LA even though they are sometimes headlined in the Finnish press.
