Okay, I'm going to contribute to this thread because I'm wasted. (anyone remember Carrie Underwood's Wasted song?) I like MacArthur Park. Sometimes. Didn't like Carrie singing it though. Seoulmate, I wanted to quote you but since you told me to drink wine and I obliged, I've lost my quoting ability. i've been here lurking, I do that well, I've been chuckling and bemoaning and grrr'ing as the posts dictate. I love this place. I'm just as anxious for Adam 2 as everyone else. I'm a little skeered though. Skeered it won't live up to his expectations. Not my expectations, but his. I don't want him to be disappointed. I want him to be over-the-top happy. I'll do everything in my power to help that along, requesting and buying his music. If angst could propel him to super stardom, I swear I have enough angst to jettison him to the moon. Geez, I'm going to stop now. There's a reason I don't post much.  I am getting great JOY from your posts tonight ;D Was trying to think of what would go great with a burrito, Corona came to mind  , but, since you mentioned you are enjoying your wine.............I give you the enchilada!!!!!!! But right now the cameramen are asking someone with a vehicle to come get them so that they can film around the Playa instead of being stationary. There are supposed to be fireworks tonight too, 10:30 |

It got really dark, really fast, so it's harder to see now. I saw something on the chat that suggested it was an island of balloons. It was floating in the heat of the day but is sinking as it cools off. Or something like that. |

Re: Adam's ability as a lyricist. Just a reminder of the wonderful program Angelina Kalahari did called "Adam Lambert's Powerful Lyrics". Her guest was an expert on English literature. It makes for good listening, or if you prefer, you can read the transcript. Ya, but the lights at night are what's so cool. IMO, way better than the daytime view. Of course, if we're trying to catch Adam on camera. I have a weird story about being able to find someone on a live cast. In the late 90s my daughter did study abroad, in Cannes, France. She got to go to the Cannes Film Festival one night. They had a live camera focused on the landing of the steps to the main theatre's entrance. I knew what night she was going and what she was wearing, so I went on-line and watched that live cam during the time everyone was arriving. I saw her and was able to get a screen cap of her!!  So, seeing Adam and Sauli during the daytime would not be an impossible idea. |
