When I see Adam on these UK shows and events, it is such a great reminder that he is a worldwide mainstream act, celebrity and star. Not the biggest in the world but it is still very difficult for most to reach his level of success, acknowledgement and financial security. And he is looking so good with all this promotion and exposure. Exactly right. He's not considered just a singer. He is thought of as a personality, someone who is fun to have on a TV show. Someone who is smart and quick and entertaining. I love it when he is on shows just to talk or joke or play games or cook or taste liquor. I just wish it would happen more often in the US and not just in other countries. US TV doesn't know what it's missing. I know he's done SOME US TV, but he sure would be a great guest on lots of shows we've never seen him on, at least lately. And no, I don't think he has to have a new song coming out in order to be on a show. I hope we see him more when the official word comes out about the animated film. Also would love to see him on tv more in the US. But I think in the US you almost need a project going on to get coverage cause there are so many musical acts and tv stars to choose from. But he seems to get on tv when he has new music out just not the big award shows. Hope his new management will be on that. And I always get a kick out of the mere mention of the possibility of him being a judge on Idol sends some to the entertainment shows into overdrive with speculation and a few brief clips, lol. On a different note, I was thinking before that I hope Warner will try to get Adam half to the publicity that WMG/Atlantic got for Kelly Clarkson's last album. Then I realized, it is her husband (who is her manager and Blake Shelton's) getting her all the opportunities and not WMG/Atlantic. Tho, all the exposure, plus being a judge on The Voice, has not helped her that much with her singles and album.

I will never not love this. The first time I heard him sing this, it made me cry....I wish we had a full version of this cover. I love when he covers a song, because, at least so far, his version to me is superior.

Yeah, I do realize that most celebs are on talk shows, etc. when they have a project to promote. It's only the top A-listers (actors, etc.) who get on shows when they really don't have anything to sell. They're just "in town." I guess what I meant is that Adam would be equally entertaining on a show whether he had anything to promote or not. He's just an entertaining person in general. And YES, I hope he gets some decent promotion for A4. He deserves it. After watching the delightful Sunday Brunch videos, I just have to say that Adam is an apple pie wrapped in a sweet cake wrapped in a delicious parfait wrapped in a delicate omelet and, as he said, all wrapped up in leather. Now that's a feast!

Sorry to post who, lol, but thanks for posting that Lara Fabian vid....every song she sings is a story. She's a lot like Adam, she never "just" sings. Her body, her voice, her inflections, her facial expressions....they're all part of the song.
I love discovering new singers...I first discovered Lara because of a duet with Russell Watson on one of his cd's. All my favorite singers have voices that "hit" me the first time I've heard them sing, including Adam. I listen to very few singers that I had to get used to. Most singers I listen to on YouTube I turn off halfway through the song lol.
And regarding Allison, I'm very happy that she's able to make a go of it with her band, Halo Circus. She also seems to be a hard worker. I wonder if any other people from Adam's season are still pursuing music....I know Ghokey and Kris are. Haven't heard anything about Matt and Michael and Lil....I think Megan put out an album?

Not sure what Mighty Hoopla event is... It’s a music festival in London. Benedict Cork also posted videos (no Adam).
