So, momtomany.... re. those pics I just posted above... I think someone said the temple gets burned, but do those other two sculpture things get burned, too???  (I hope they just get taken down, packed away, and put up again in another location!!) |

Mys*&@^#r--Yes I have tried that sweet tea flavored vodka, mixed in with sweet tea and it is GOOD and I don't even like sweet tea! LOL...You cannot taste the vodka at all which makes it super deadly! LOL have fun but drink resp-----ah screw it!! GO WILD!

Beautiful Burning Man photos. I mentioned this before, but one of my former coworkers went to BM in 2005 -- I didn't realize that was Adam's year until recently! She's moved away and I've lost touch, but I wonder if she had any contact with him. Probably not, but it's just weird to think she was there at the same time. I remember hearing her stories and being amazed by the whole thing. I, personally, am way too high maintainance to think of going. I'm not proud or happy about it. Maybe in another decade I'll be able to imagine going without my hair dryer for a week! I keep thinking of more songs...wish we had longer to come up with our lists! *whines* Janis Ian -- At Seventeen. Wow, sorry for spamming. I really got worked up by all this music!! Couple more posts and I hope to go back to lurking cos I got work to do in RL!!! There have been some musicals mentioned, including Les Miz, which I love. One of my other favorites, with a personal connection, is Caroline or Change. My older son was musical director for the Philly premiere of this show, and he said it was the only production he played (he plays keyboard/piano) that seemed fresh every night because the music was so interesting (he has moved away from making a career as a musical director because he hates the repetition). I really love this show, which was written by Tony Kushner (who I ADORE) (he also wrote Angels in America) and Jeanne Tesori. This is a vid of Tonya Pinkins singing the climactic song of the show, Lot's Wife. She was in the Broadway production. Looks like Adam's isn't the only Facebook that has pics stolen. I still don't get why Adam or PINK have Facebooks accounts that they think they can keep private. There are ways to make their own web pages that are really private!

He's not my favorite person in the world, that's for sure. He did a blog about Adam a few months back that was really weird too. Anyway, I just posted a brief comment. I thought yours was very good. |
