I didn't see this answered yet... The Hub is a kid's cable station. It used to be "Discover Kids Network" and has been rebranded as The Hub. It seems to still be part of Discovery but it also has links to Hasbro (so LOTS of ads for toys!) They seem to be making a push to compete with Disney, Nick and Cartoon Network. So far, there has been a lot of cartoon content, but they seem to be coming out with more and more original programing. My son shouted at me yesterday "Adam is on my TV" - it was an ad for Majors & Minors which they seem to be really pushing. I'm not sure how big their audience is yet -but I know my son has it in the group of stations he flips through (he is 12). It is firmly aimed at the tween and young teen market which is probably a great place to get new Adam fans. Thanks pjd . I still don't know if I can get to see it on my pc, but at least now I have a starting point.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAMAFAN!
Been checking out some of the great music you all posted a couple of days ago. Missed the deadline to submit my own list, but there are lots already there that I could have included! Probably would have included a Van Morrison track and always loved "He Ain't Heavy he's my brother" by the Hollies (yeah, THAT generation!)
Great to have confirmation that A&S were at BM. Thanks to all of you who bring all the good stuff over. I'd be lost in Adam hinterland without you all!

Needacoke, my favorite "padre" has been transferred to another parish so I hope he has uploaded all his personal files from the church computer and emptied his hard drive otherwise the new priest will wonder about the stray Adam picture, on all fours no less, LOL!!!
I haven't spoken to my "padre" since his move - he is probably very busy in his new parish and has not checked his picture files.
Anyway, a little OT but thought I would share something the priest at church said yesterday. The gospel was about love and this is a summary of what he said:
Being "in love" is an emotion that most of us have little control over. "To love" is an action that takes a lot of effort to nourish and grow. In marriage vows, one pledges to love the other till death do they part. It is not a pledge to be "in love" forever (great if it does last forever). That resonated with me because being in love is great and exciting but loving someone (and being loved in return) is more rewarding IMO. Needless to say, DH took my hand and squeezed it. Awwwww, that is what love is all about.

Thank you kapsiz, LindaG23 (yes, very appropriate!) csharpminor, fiercelier and sandysva Rain, rain go away! argh! Just took this pic of my former next door neighbor's yard and the plaster ceiling in my sunroon/sitting room off my BR (still waiting on a copper roof replacement....my 4mo old tarp is failing) Oh a lighter note, I got these pom pom gloves as a Bday present. First thing I thought of was maybe wearing them at a concert for Tour #2 next fall (they do have the letter A) maybe somewhere overseas where it's cold....with me on the front row....I could be the new wavy arm lady !!! I know I'm bored....It's been a long day.
