Noooooooo........ you are not spamming the thread - I am totally fascinated with the details and advance prep needed to 'survive' this thing.
I'm curious as to why you wouldn't/couldn't use the shower and toilet on your RV. I understand that what goes in, must also come out of the Playa, and that water is a precious, precious resource, but with careful planning and systems in place, are these commodities do'able somehow?

And one more question! What exactly happens to bare feet? Do the soles of your feet just dry up and crack or something? And wearing sandals/flip flops is no good? Has to be socks and boots?

oh... and one more question, momtomany! : Do you make good friends at BMan each year? Do you keep in contact with your BM contacts/acquaintances throughout the year? oh.... and yet one more question! How did you guys get involved with the Trojan Horse event? It sounds like your hubby played kind of an important role as Dionysus? Did he volunteer for this role, or was he chosen to do it? Oh! and speaking of your hubby... did you guys first become interested in BMan as a couple, or was it you who got involved first because you knew Adam had been there and it sparked your interest? If it was the latter scenario, was your hubby really gung-ho and enthusiastic about going right from the start? (ok, that's it for tonight... off to ruminate about more questions. lol)

momtomany, thank you so much for sharing your experience!! It's beautiful and sounds so much fun, I hope the firework that hit your neck is not serious.
So did people bring their own generator for electricity or was it available at the site? No bathroom? Not even a porta-potty? Yikes, maybe this is not for me. LOL. (And I absolutely hate porta potty).
