Totally agree with you two! With doing shows within six months of each other in London and other European venues, I think it was critical to at least make some changes/ additions to the song selection...giving fans a few new "ah awesome" moments. I expect and hope for changes/ additions for the Vegas shows too. The other day someone mentioned that Adam had said they had a big budget for production in Vegas. I checked out recent Vegas you tubes. Cher youtubes...a bit cheezy/over the top staging/lots of dancers etc. But yah...all of that is costly and suits her style. Others like Queen are full of pizazz but vocals prevail with classy impact of lightng/ visuals etc. Having some of the finest production and lighting teams in the business well...I am excited to see what QAL develops for the Vegas shows, and in particular the song choice. I truly hope they can create a new buzz for die hard fans. Ps  scroll is a best friend... Omgolly, Ashley Reeve ( nee Dzerigian ) was playing for Cher in her Spring Vegas residency--subbing for a person who had to leave for Pink's tour. Good for her! While on a nostalia roll...I vicariously found out that Brian London, who I have not kept up with since the Kickstarter flop...and Tommy Joe R. are in a band with couple Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross. I quite like Evan, in the tv show Star. Supposedly the couple have a reality tv show coming out which includes them working on an album. Who knows, perhaps Brian and Tommy Joe will make appearances on the silver screen). Happy for Tommy. I think I am in the minority but I liked him in Adam's band. That was until I saw the level of harassment directed at Adam and insisting that he was in love and in a secret relationship with him. I have never followed an artist on this level before Adam so maybe that is standard behavior for fans. But I found it crazy that they would get so angry because they could not make Adam love who they wanted him to love. Even if Tommy were not straight, it would not be their call. |
