Maybe I said it wrong the word "nudity camps"? I think I said it wrong. Don't you have places in the US where the campers are all naked? ??? Back in time to participate in this lively discussion, though only on page 15 or so. Nudist camps are all over the United States and are embraced by all kinds of people. My sister’s in-law family, aunts and uncles, not mom and dad-in-law were really into it. I never saw them in the buff, but after many really funny discussions with them about it, I learned that most camps - their words, not mine-are populated by Roseanne Barr and John Goodman lookalikes as opposed to Adam and Keisha lookalikes. The in-law family fall into the former category and are the first to make jokes about it. They said if you are a peeping Tom, you will probably not come back a second time. This is all hearsay, so please feel free to give other points of view. The real reason I came back online was to discuss Project Runway. I taped the last 3 episodes after never having watched it. It was interesting and fun, but there are 2 contestants who are so obnoxious and self-centered, although in different ways, that I could barely contain myself. Josh is arrogant, bossy, whiny, and pulling a Danny Gokey except it is about his mom who died 2 years ago. The other is Bert, an older man, who also thinks he is infallible. As far as the designing goes, I think one of the 2 weak candidates was sent home tonight. The guest panelist is not given much to do or say, but I think Adam will make the most of it because he is so articulate and opinionated. I may watch the show until the end of this season out of morbid curiosity, but I don’t deal well with diva behavior, so will probably not ever watch again. I love PR. Watch it every season. I have to say, this season the designers are not impressing me. And the judging last week was ridiculous. After Tim warned them to be sure they went Avant Garde, the judges picked a dress that wasn't even Avant Garde and that designer used a glue gun for his "brush strokes"! The only good judging last week was by the guest judge and Heidi completely ignored his recommendations! Yes, I agree Joshua and Bert are very annoying! My favorites are the girl from Trinidad and the blonde with the long hair. Can't remember either name but after them, I think the talent has a big drop off. Oh, Joshua is good too but his personality is such a turn off! Lifeguard, stick around for the whole season and you may find the show is addicting! I have seen guest judges talk a lot. Kim Kardasian gave a lot of critiquing that they showed. I am confident that Adam will get a good amount of screen time. He's too gorgeous and too articulate for him not to!

So....how has Adam managed to keep that grey top hat so pristine?? Can't be that common to find a dry cleaner that specializes in top hats. Tho it is Hollywood....

Dlisted blind item: What popular “American Idol” finalist has a major complex over his acne-scarred complexion? The flamboyant singer, who regularly undergoes hour-long makeup overhauls, is currently consulting with plastic surgeons to cover up his facial flaws. (Blind Gossip) www.dlisted.com/2011/09/08/blind-items-i-guess-you-guess1) Yawn. So scandalous! Not. 2) I'm sure that he has and he will indulge in some expensive laser treatments, but that's not called plastic surgery nowadays.

Maybe a bit off regarding nudity camps, but, since I am always a bit off, I am sharing. Several years ago when we decided to hit the beach some what close to home, we chose Maui. Stayed in Lahaina, taking morning walk on beach and who do I cross paths with......yup, old naked man drinking coffee, looking out at the water and very friendly. Wouldn't have been half bad if he was say........Adam or I am sure someone life lifeguard. No at luck would have it, my nude guy was tall, long gray hair and VERY wrinkly. EVERYTHING had wrinkles, so not close these guys

This is one of my favorite Adam pictures. When I sent it to my friends in Switzerland and Holland, they were amazed this wasn't a picture of a young Elvis. OMG! This is Adam? I can't believe it. I thought that someone photoshopped Elvis onto Adam's pic. Is it really Adam? Gosh, it never occurred to me it was shopped because of the hair. His features look so much like Elvis from this angle. Gelly, wake up! We have a need for your opinion.

So, it seems like this place is always on top of all the current events - I'll add some electricity outage drama. Tomorrow, I am going to a big weekend birthday party at Catalina Island. We are leaving from Dana Point - a harbor near us - and a large group are coming up from San Diego to leave out of Dana Point. We have 3 people from Colorado, Kansas and Missouri staying at our house tonight, no problem. I just learned from my dear son that some people in San Diego are panicking about traffic in the A.M. , plus they want to get out of the dark. Long story short, we may end up with 7 more people here tonight. One group of 3 may have a problem because they don't have gas in their car and can't get any. Cell phones aren't working half the time so communication is very spotty. My son was hosting a seminar in S.D. this afternoon and drove all the way down there and then the power went out, so he's already back. Birthday boy is in L.A. and has a houseful himself, but I'm sure he's aware of the drama. The core group going is made up of gay men - mostly in their 30's. The rest of us are friends and family. This should make for some funny stories at the very least. Oh well, better go and make sure I have umpteen clean towels, sheets and blankets. (Mayumi - I think I need a house like yours!) Mine is pretty big, but with 2 grown sons living at home it only leaves one guest room, 3 couches and a lot of limited floor space. :D Now I need to go on line and see if my granddaughter has school tomorrow. She lives in San Clemente and has no power so I'm checking for them.
