Adam at Burning Man. Watching, celebrating the Burn. Controlled fire semi out of control in a desert where there are no trees to burn. Bastrop County is devastated. The loss is staggering. My community's beloved retreat center is gone. The whole street is gone. Every house burned. The air in my city is smoky and everyone is sneezing or coughing or is complaining of headaches. All that remains of Pine Crone for sure are the structures made of stone - the huge fire pit, the amazing labrynth, lovingly laid out and built by my recently deceased friend. (the owner of the center passed in June after battling cancer for 2 years) I may not post for a while, good people. My sadness is great, but keep the prayers of the rain coming for my dry, dry state. Love, amw I'm really really sorry.... My thoughts are with you. :( |

Poor guy! I love the way Sauli's body kind of naturally leans in to Adam's to share the humorous moment. It makes me happy that these two love to laugh, and laugh and love, as humor is such a gift in life. |

My son came home from touring Santiago, Chile and surrounding areas having not slept in forty hours. He looked understandably exhausted and leaves again for Nashville tomorrow. When he is home, he does nothing but work on finishing his album, which is set for its final mix on Oct.25th. There is never enough time for him to sleep just now. I am glad Adam is finding time, like at BM, to replenish his soul with those he loves when he can. Life as a musician is so much hard work, both in the recording and in the touring. :-/ |
