Here are two more of the same pic, but with COLOR!!! Holy cow - it just keeps getting betterer! There goes my thus-far empty external hard drive - can't imagine a better way to use it. Although I'm pretty sure I'll never get to Gelly's 20,000! Thank you!

Smokeyvera, you sound like a woman with a plan--a good one. It should be a very rewarding year for your son, and for you. And if you do place him in a really good high school, he should be fine. Anyplace where the teachers really care and aren't overloaded with students should make his high school experience a good one. Wishing you luck with your move--and so admire you for your dedication to giving your son the best shot at a happy life. Good people here. Good people.

I've actually never nocticed! ??? ;D I am not watching AI, I think I read someplace you are. Maybe it was regarding the contestant, James. Is this a redeeming season for Idol? Of did "Adam" indeed set the bar too high? I know you love Adam, but, what is the truth? I am a true Idol Loon! I have watched since season 1, but have not voted in every season. Last season, I didn't vote at all. I preferred Crystal, but really wasn't invested in anyone. I voted heavily in Seasons 5, 7, and 8. There is no other show that gives these kids the chance to become recording artists, or actresses, or Broadway stars. Like Adam has said, the labels rarely do "development" anymore. Without Idol, we would not know about Adam Lambert. So, I will always love the show. Do I think Idol is redeeming itself this year? So far, yes. I love Steven and Jennifer. I knew Simon had "checked out" 2 years ago and I knew Kara was bad, but seeing Steven and Jennifer, this year, makes me realize how bad the judges had gotten. Steven and Jennifer are paying attention and giving good critiques. They know music and are actually making sense. They are even having fun! The contestants, this year, seem to be good singers (with about 3 exceptions.) I think the producers are sooooo scared of another WGWG that they made sure they put the singing front and center. Will there ever be another Adam Lambert. I doubt it. He's too extraordinary, in every way. All in all, I think it will be a fun and entertaining season. Whether I vote again, remains to be seen. I think I've already found my American Idol.

I've actually never nocticed! ??? ;D I don't believe you , you probably know how many freckles Adam has on his top and bottom lip combined. I'm am totally convinced we will hit bottom, in reference to addiction, before album #2. If you can tell me how many freckles Adam has on his lips.............for sure, we are in trouble. Well, I count 12. (Wow! Exactly the same as my age!) Am I right? Are there 12? Huh? ;D

Thank heavens you are in a solid real estate state. Moving sucks, no way around it, that being said, after each of our moves, it always felt like the right thing to do. Know what I mean??? When this process is over and you have made your new junk drawer in your new home, a weight will be lifted off your shoulders knowing this is where your family was meant to be. When I had my new junk drawer defined, I knew it was home. What grade is your son in? Is he high school age? My son is 14 and in the 7th grade. He is 2 grades behind. I plan to home school for 8th grade. He suffers from language delay, which means reading comp delay and writing delay. I plan to spend a whole school year building up these skills along with math and a fun exploratory course. Of course music and his piano. He didn't start learning till he was 10, so losing 10 years of his life means losing a lot of initial skills. The fun class will be EQ stuff, like what you need to make it in life and develop reasoning capabilities and cause an effect and using info to make good decisions. I am developing an exciting and fun program. For example, you have $50, plan what you need to buy at the grocery store, check prices, grab, unload, pay, unload at home. Then evaluate how he did. I have 180 separate subjects developed. More to come. Lot will be life skills. I think he will develop some very good skills. He loves travel and has a keen interest in the world, so we will develop those skills too. Then it will be back to the school system for HS. He is fortunate to have found his way to you & your husband, and, you in return sound as if he and his sister have enriched your lives. One of our friends home schooled their two children until the last two years of high school. No way could I have done it, I am in awe of those of you who can! Your undertaking of developing a whole new curriculum for your son sounds amazing! His needs are very specific and fortunately you can fulfill them. A win win for all!

My son was given to me to develop patience, a virtue I did not possess. My daughter, much the same. Speak to me this time next year, if I'm not in looney tunes city. This whole thing will tax me to the fullest. I will need to sneak in my Adam stanning and trips to his next tour. Aloha and Hoopla, thanks for your kind words. We gotta do what we gotta do and it isn't always an easy road. My husband tells me all the time, these kids owe you big time. I tell him, they will pay it forward.

I think I've already found my American Idol. I'm watching Idol this season too and they have gone for the more theatrical. Some of the singers are really talented, but they really have to BRING it.They can no longer just stand there and sing & I do believe Adam set the standard for this show. Jennifer and Stephen show the contestants that they care and give them good direction. Tonight Jennifer broke down& cried because she hated sending some singers home.I won't vote ,I only voted for one singer and that was for ADAM.
