From Lane: "Would you mind replying to this email (please don't reply all!), and in the subject line, write your name so i can keep track of the thousands of you! Then in the text of the email, please list your mailing address. " Where do I find the subject line? I don't get it. When I click on the "reply" it goes to the text space. And the subject would still be "Charity:Water: Photo is waiting for you!", wouldn't it? How do I change it? :-/ Subject line remains the same. don't change it. Just make sure you click on reply and not reply all. I have Gmail and just clicked on the "edit subject" button and the subject box appeared. I changed the subject line to include only my name. Should I have just added my name to what was already there? Should I resend a revised reply?

Subject line remains the same. don't change it. Just make sure you click on reply and not reply all. So I just write my name and address on the text space? Still wonder what Lane meant by "in the subject line write your name". oh wel... whoops, then you should add your name to the subject line

Call me a cynic, but I don't believe for a minute that Adam, himself, actually wrote that ALF blog. I agree that it does not sound like him at all. Unless he is being snarky and asking the same mundane questions that he is asked all the time in interviews. To my cynical self, it read like questions in a teen magazine. I seriously doubt that he will personally be reading the comments.
YMMV

Damn it Adam. Just because we slightly complained about ALF here today, you lurker you, you had to go and glam things up over there. lol I'm so not into those questions, they are so very non-terrestial. He's so very much into the inner person vs the outer. Do our psych diviners have any insight into why that's what he wants to know about us? I think we need to analyze this. Maybe it's just a diversion. Maybe the natives are gettin' restless, and he just tossed out a bone something to keep peeps occupied.

What do we think about Aftermath? Possible radio realease? Possible AI performance? Possible video? This is baffling me !!!!!! Adam said no radio release, but that doesn't mean radio can't play it. Does mean that no label support for plays, so if they play it will be random and probably not a lot. AI performance possible, but probably no video. So where do the proceeds for the Trevor Project are supposed to come from? iTunes sales? ???

I don't think there is much of a common denominator in Adam's fan base when it comes to such questions as: What music do you like, where do you want to travel to...
It's truly all ages, all interests, all likes an dis-likes...he attracts a potpourri of people, different styles and preferences. That is why I think that Adam always will need to toss out what he wants to say and convey with his music and not listen to what we want. We don't effing know what we want. But we all love what he does and if we have to learn to love it, we'll just circle the wagons for a while.
But most Adam fans like that Adam challenges us a bit, that he does not make it quite so conveniently easy all the time. I like the balance of light-hearted entertainment with an edge and an attitude to go along with the quality in music and singing which he always stands for. I like to use my mind and my ears when listening to music and most of all, I like to be moved. Whether that is stirred or challenged or surprised or enchanted, Adam moves me in many big ways.
But I am not sure how to say that in countries, food, fashion or by answering similar questions. Perhaps I say something about wearing my independence, traveling and exploring the human mind and feasting on a buffet of ideas or something like that and how any soundtrack that can take me there is fine with me.
No wonder I like DTRH so much.
As to the comment above about Adam not reading this. Even if this was not his original idea, why would he not come and read the answers? Glance over them, try to get an impression. I think that he is genuinely curious as to who we are, what we want and why on earth we are following him and sometimes I would like to know that about myself too. But I totally would expect him to lurk and read. And yes, it also keeps restless Indians busy, a useful side effect. But most of the Indians are still busy with themselves and their new-found circles, interests or with RL stuff, which is of course good. Contrary to some impression that mega-twitterers and a few others may convey, most of us are actually quite busy running our actual real lives. :-)

The Fins have reported that Sauli and Adam have been dating since November and Sauli never leaves his side when they are together. They said Adam is now so happy and is finally smiling because he and Sauli are together. What do they know that we don't. Neither Adam or Sauli have uttered a word to anyone, have they?
