Hey, wait a minute ... my dalliances with The Ledge have been greatly exaggerated. It's my shift every third Tuesday and each date that is a prime number. (However, I will admit to doing a "walk-on" if full moons, work stress, PMS or dire news dictate it.)
I was actually a First Responder on Ledge Rescue Squad today. (Tweet A11 if you need immediate assistance.)

ITA. Being a parent is the most wonderful and the most agonizing experience. Things that were once so black and white, become blurred and muted. Of course, much of this black and white thinking disappears with age also. All those things we would NEVER do or we would Always do, become things we have to do, might do or are forced to do. I imagine Neil will learn that his absolute truths of how things are (and will always be) will soften as he grows older and if he marries or has children of his own. Or he might continue to be a stubborn "Mr. Know It All" his whole life.  When I think about it, I'm intrigued by the fact that Adam is so low key, open-minded and accepting of differences in opinions. Adam is the peacemaker.  Being different, and/or raising kids that are different, often makes you either recognize shades of gray because you live them, or work even harder to deny that they exist. On another note, SUSIE FIERCE, LEDGEWALKER, lolololol.... It could almost be substituted for sleepwalker as a lyric and make sense these days, hee hee |

PSA for JT Absence Hilarious video! I loved it! I too have had my turn on the ledge, but I'm feeling pretty Zen now. If Adam's album is out in 2012 instead November it won't be the end of his career. The most important thing is the quality of the album and the marketing that is done to promote it. We know he has good new management. What made me nervous earlier was when Cook's album did not do well. Comments were made that it was because he waited to long but I don't think that is the reason.It really wasn't a very good album. There are some past idols who did their very best work while on Idol, but nothing since then has lived up to the promise. In contrast Adam just keeps getting better. |

I added to my post above. It looks like exact same charter company they used for GNT. Right before they got back I saw a tweet in Adam's @replies thanking him for using one of their RV's from San Diego RV, don't have link but will see if can find it. I also had read some info in blogs re: BM RVs waiting there for those that fly or drive there with all there supplys waiting, can cost $5k-10K depending on how much it is equipped, stocked, catered, serviced etc. The cost of those little planes that fly there I saw charge $875 pp or $4375 up to 5 people. Sauli said their plane only sat 4. The info I saw was about a San Francisco airfield, so not sure if they flew there and took one, or if there are other small fields near LA they took one from. He flew out of Santa Monica and landed at the small airstrip that is at Burning Man. |
