Right before they got back I saw a tweet in Adam's @replies thanking him for using one of their RV's from San Diego RV, don't have link but will see if can find it. I also had read some info in blogs re: BM RVs waiting there for those that fly or drive there with all there supplys waiting, can cost $5k-10K depending on how much it is equipped, stocked, catered, serviced etc. The cost of those little planes that fly there I saw charge $875 pp or $4375 up to 5 people. Sauli said their plane only sat 4. The info I saw was about a San Francisco airfield, so not sure if they flew there and took one, or if there are other small fields near LA they took one from. He flew out of Santa Monica and landed at the small airstrip that is at Burning Man. idk why that extra info where they flew from is good to know... but it is. Thanks  Oh, btw here is that tweet I saw which made me believe they had an RV waiting before pic showed up today. This was sent Sept 6. When you click link re: pride parade - San Diego. I have been going into NYC every few weeks this summer to see Broadway shows. (My version of a summer vacation) After every one I have come out shaking my head wondering why did Adam not come to NY. I happened to see Wicked twice this season, each with a different Fiyero. Both Fiyero's were good but they were not as good as Adam's Fiyero IMO. In the musical I saw today, the leading man was Fiyero in the national touring company before doing this show. Again, he was terrific but I could picture Adam doing a better job. I have a feeling that I'm going to have this feeling about every tenor that I hear on Broadway until I finally hear Adam on Broadway.
On a different note, I almost didn't go into NY today because the media was warning travelers about major delays getting around the city due to increased security downtown at the WTC Memorial and in the Times Square area. Then I remembered the fear that everyone here experienced about traveling into NYC ten years ago and I knew that if I didn't go, they win. Never Again. I left early expecting to sit in traffic for hours. I turns out it was like driving into a ghost town. I didn't even have to slow down to go through the Lincoln Tunnel. It was the fastest I have EVER gotten into to NYC in my entire life. Since the theater was as 43rd St., I figured I would sit in the Times Square pedestrian mall and watch all the tourists for a couple of hours. There was hardly any traffic at all, vehicular or pedestrian. It was really eerie. The theater wasn't full either. I guess a lot of people were afraid to come into the city today. Too bad. There were a lot of memorial neon signs in Times Square and the WTC Memorial service was being streamed along the side of one of the buildings.
Sorry for the rambling. It was a strange day for me. Thanks for listening.

MIKA- OMG- this is hilarious. Thank god we don't stan JT, huh?  Yes, but all you guys talk about Adam being in movies. Be careful what you ask for. LOL. I've seen this video, it is funny. I went online that day and started looking at old videos of Justin Timberlake starting with most recent then back when he was with NSYNC. Remembering that he said something about walking away from music cuz burned out, something about being in the industry so young. What I didn't realize he was also a part of Disney's Mickey Mouse Club at the same time Brittney Spears, Christina Aguilera www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDclvF1v5-U Justin is just background in this vid, some speculate singer is JC Chasez Someday Adam may dabble in movies or even Broadway like he said, but I don't think he'll ever put music on a back burner for long. He wasn't thrust in the public eye at such an early age, and something tells me he feels like he has time to make up for holding back. |

How do you know that???  And yes, DISQUALIFIER: There are no guarantees. I may lose it tomorrow. Saulis blog. The picture shows him landing at BM and he says they took off from the airport that had just had a small plane crash into a house. He even said, "It was on the news." That happened at Santa Monica airport. Oh, that's right, thanks!!! Yes, you don't forget that. After I did my small-plane flying lesson a few years ago, there was a huge accident with a plane from the same airport (almost directly over it). It was a midair collision. I think six people were killed (including someone on the ground) and it was a clear, beautiful fall day too. Yipes! Up until then, I was extremely confident with the safety of air travel, even small planes. I still am, largely, but stuff does happen. |
