The Wicked thing is what I was wondering if he’s already taped. Not that there is any evidence to think so really. And I’m not a fan at all of ‘recreating Fiyero’ for movie or whatever, he’s too old for that now. However, if they will be interviewing previous cast members (or whatever the format), it only makes sense, if he’s interested anyway. Norbert is great in his own right and I’m sure he’ll be involved being the original, but Adam is probably has the most recognizable name of Fiyeros, even if people don’t know he played the role outside of NYC. They have plenty of Galindas and Elphabas to represent, Eden being one.
When I saw Wicked in NY with Idina, Joey McIntyre (of New Kids on The Block) was playing Fiyero.

www.axs.com/nbc-plans-elvis-presley-all-star-tribute-to-celebrate-his-1968-tv-spec-130411NBC will have an all-star concert called "The 50th Anniversary of the Elvis Comeback Special" that will air as a two-hour special on the network sometime in 2019. The concert participants are to be announced, but NBC calls the show a celebration of Elvis Presley's 1968 TV special, and the performers will "pay tribute to Elvis, recreating the spectacle–even the staging–of that legendary night." Presley's 1968 TV special, simply titled "Elvis," was filmed on June 27, 1968, in Burbank, California. NBC then aired the show on Dec. 3, 1968. A soundtrack for the "Elvis" TV special was released that year. It was Presley's first live television performance since 1961 and his first time starring in his own TV special. According to NBC, "Elvis" was the network's highest-rated show that year, with about 42 percent of the U.S. TV audience watching, and the show became commonly known as Presley's "comeback special." The black leather jumpsuit that Presley wore on the show became one of his most iconic outfits. In addition to the musical performances, NBC's 2019 Elvis tribute special will have rare footage, outtakes and interviews with people involved in the 1968 show, including director Steve Binder. Ken Ehrlich of Ken Ehrlich Productions (the company behind the Grammy Awards telecast) will executive produce NBC's Elvis tribute special. In 2008, Martina McBride did a virtual duet with Presley on the classic "Blue Christmas." The video for the song featured McBride edited into footage from the "Elvis" 1968 special. The video will no doubt serve as an inspiration for the tribute special that NBC will air in 2019.

I am on that email list for the Elvis thing and got the notice this morning. Too bad I'm over age 34. 😭 Can't you fake it somehow? LOL Hopefully somebody from LA qualifies and can go and give us some bts stuff. I really don't want or need to know much....just maybe which song/s he sings. :D Man do I wish! I'm most curious about the song choice too.

Some more info about the performers. Interesting way of arranging the artists. Adam is in good company with Ed Sheeran at least. ShefaniShines @susantfor Blake will be performing on an All Star Tribute to Elvis Presley!!! Filming on Oct 10th and 11th.... ![https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dof-x0pU0AEG7uu.jpg](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dof-x0pU0AEG7uu.jpg) ![https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dof-ynzUwAEMP9l.jpg](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dof-ynzUwAEMP9l.jpg) Ok, I have to ask at the risk of sounding really stupid. Is this a LIVE 2-night tribute show? Or is it a TAPING of the show to be broadcast at a later date? Sounds like it's live to me. If so, then it's next week already!

Adam could of course sing all of these songs. Guess he'll probably do Heartbreak Hotel or perhaps the medley with Hound Dog and All Shook up. If that.....I hate HH is so short. Adam mentioned at one time he liked the Jailhouse rock visuals. With already a dozen stars listed and it says more aren't yet announced....doubt he'll be given more songs to sing. I see a few that Ed Sheeran (maybe Memories or Cant Help Falling in Love or Love Me Tender etc)or Josh Groban (maybe If I Can Dream)could sing....a few the country guys could sing.....not sure about the country girls. The country folks can easily do any gospel songs. Don't know how close to the original set list they'll keep it....it's a 2 hr show with commercials and extra things thrown in as well.

We have to wait quite a while!
