His ideal boyfriend is comprised of all the ideal qualities there are. Intelligence, good sense of humor, hot looking, good in bed and passionate about something like Adam is passionate about his work/career. I know it's over and I'm not still hoping but when he said that all I could think was that he's describing Sauli to a tee I thought exactly the same. And I’m not hoping either, not anymore. nightowl : Sauli IS intelligent. He really is. I quess it’s just hard to realize, if you don’t understand finnish. 😊

I was wondering how that was determined, i.e. did he appear that way in an interview? The only thing that bugged me was that I never really knew what he did for a living and wondered if he was sponging off of Adam.
I have a recent Sauli story. I was in Norway last month and I was at a restaurant where the waitress was Finnish. I asked her if she knew who Sauli was and told her he was the ex of my favorite singer. She said she did and that Sauli had a bad reputation in Finland. Then she went to go get something and came back and asked "Was his ex Adam Lambert?" and I said yes. She then went on and on about what a great singer he was and how much she loved him. Then she said that she thought Sauli's reputation had improved when he was with Adam. Anyway, I didn't delve into what this bad reputation was, I was just eating up the Adam praise. She had never seen him live and she said she would love to. She was just a student so perhaps she couldn't afford to in the past.

Bad reputation? That’s odd. Sauli wasn’t even very famous before he met Adam. He did win the Big Brother, but that was it. He was very young at the time, so I quess he partied like everyone else. But he has always been known as a very kind person. 😊

lambertlover, just to tick off the final item on Adam's wishlist, Sauli is passionate about helping people to get fit (passionate is the word Adam used, rather than determined). Thanks petrajo for stepping in on the intelligence front. I wasn't going to argue with nightowl but I was hoping you'd show up!!

About the solo music efforts...
I was a bit surprised yesterday when I gathered that new music might be further away than recently estimated or hoped for, but I am not frustrated or anything. I believe that fronting Queen distracts way more from efforts and musings toward his solo career than we can imagine, so at this point I am not worried about the label, management, or business side of things. "We want it all" and Adam does too, but he is only human and I am glad he recognizes that. I think there's a lot to be thankful for. Adam seems happy and free and Queen has done a lot for him. Who knows what's next or in the making? I have a feeling though that Adam has made Queen a priority as long as Brian and Roger want to keep going.

I am grateful to Adam for chatting with us, but, I am also frustrated. I cannot believe that all his fans could think of no more interesting and insightful questions for him. Therefore, I have to conclude that Adam chooses to ignore many questions . For example, nothing about his new house. Plans for it? Moving when? And I would expect there to be questions about future collaborations with Queen. But, nada. He could also have sung a snippet or two from some of the music he has recorded. Nothing. So, I am grateful and frustrated in equal degrees. I asked how his new house is coming along or how challenging it is to deal with the post concert adrenaline drop, amongst other things, but I think my questions were overlooked. I am not interested in discussing politics with Adam, not that it doesn't matter to me, but I am fully aware of and pleased regarding his views. I would have loved to find out how he is doing and how life and for example "heart matters" affect the artistic process.

I know it's over and I'm not still hoping but when he said that all I could think was that he's describing Sauli to a tee I have a feeling that many of us, including me, made comparisons with Sauli when Adam described his ideal boyfriend. I don't mean to take the lighthearted fun out of the "boyfriend qualities" topic, but in all fairness I believe that some things can be compared from a bystanders point of view while other more personal or private details can only be assumed. Adam talked about intelligence, passion about something in order to relate to him, sense of humor, and "hotness" ... as in looks, being a good kisser, and "good in the sack" lol. (note: my response is not meant to criticize. I just thought it is more of a "discussion" to respond to someone directly ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) )

The live IG happened too late for me to ask any questions, but I think asking about his house is way too personal. Yes, the purchase of the home was in the press, but the rest of the details, moving, renovating, etc is not for fans. Unless it's something he personally wants to share, although I can't imagine why he would. That is his sanctuary for his private time.
And that goes for almost everything else. I don't as a fan have any need to know what is happening behind the scenes, but am I curious, sure. And frankly I'm glad he's not sharing it, because honestly I don't think dirty laundry needs to be aired. I don't think it's in his best interest to share it. I don't think he's not releasing music because he's not involving himself in that any part of the process any longer, but unless he's going to release it himself on Spotify, I don't think he's got any control. I get a sense he's not interested in releasing without a label and that part is still up in the air. But I could be wrong.
