I'm with you, BB!! Not even going to lie, I'm crushed and baffled by this. It's obvious they know the track listing, so why the wait?? I think it has to do w new mgmt rollout plan, and btw, I dont buy the "he's not Katy Perry" line. Until Era 2, Katy Perry wasn't Katy Perry. She had been through a couple different labels and had two good singles off first album. It was strategy and positioning that made her second album so successful. and even it stalled expectationwise out of the gate. It is better to know than not know, but I'm depressed as fuck by this news. I'll cope, and yay single next month (ish - ugh!), but it's going to take some processing... I think it has to do with RCA being such a mess right now. It seems that all of their artists have been in some type of limbo. I think everyone has been pushed back. :( Katy Perry had three BB Top 10 hits in her first era, that landed at #1, #3 and #9. She had three legit pop hits and two of them ended up going 4x platinum, with the last one going double platinum. Katy also worked on a couple of collabs during her year off that became top 10 hits in Australia and the UK. BTW, her second album did debut at #1 and sold 192,000 the first week. Adam does not have three pop hits from his last album. Adam and Katy simply are in different places going into their second album. I really don't expect two singles before the second album comes out. Adam's singles take too long to climb the charts. (which is standard for most artists) mys*&@^#r: ITA. We are just discussing how we feel between ourselves. No one here is trying to tell RCA, DMG or Adam how to do their job. I'm not going to tweet Adam or send my comments to the record label or management compnay. |

Isn't everyone here expressing opinions and pouring out emotions to on line friends? I thought I could do the same thing. :-/ My OPINION matters just as much as everyone elses. Now, if I try to call RCA or tweet Adam that I think this is f*cked up, that would be different. But I'm not, thank you very much! Yes it DOES matter. We are here to discuss everything among friends. I totally agree with you. |

In real life I am way, way, way more outspoken than I am on here, so I for one appreciate your honesty. MyS*&@^#r..I'm very disappointed and worried about the timing release on Adam's second album. I can't help it, I'm invested and want his career to be what he wants it to be. I have certainly said how I feel and think we all should be able to be honest with our feelings. WE are here because we love Adam and support him, IMHO ,we also want him to grow a bigger base world wide. I know I've been waiting to buy tons of cds ,ready to face book everything he sings,etc. Maybe it's my fantasy ,that I feel part of the PR process .We're his fans.. how should we feel when there isn't much to fan over?If Adam reads some of the fan blogs,he will at least know just how much we miss him and his new music.. Just sayin.At least we really care,is that so bad?? |
