I liken the highs and lows of this day to the highs and lows one may experience when out drinking with friends. First you are all WOOOO THIS IS SOO MUCH FUN WOOOO! Then you are all WOAH THE ROOM IS SPINNING THAT'S WEIRD, and then you are all DO YOU GUYS LIKE ME? ARE YOU GUYS MAD AT ME? YOU TOTALLY ARE, AREN'T YOU? I''M SORRY! DON'T BE MAD! And then it progresses to FINE! BE MAD! I DON'T NEED YOU GUYS! FUCK THIS SHIT I WANT ANOTHER DRINK! And then it ends up being all MAN I DON'T FEEL SO GOOD GUYS. And finally swings back around to OMG I LOVE YOU GUYS! I LOVE EVERYONE! LET'S DO SHOTS! WOOO! And finally you pass out in a pool of your own vomit and wake up the next day with absolutely no recollection of what happened. I reckon that's what is gonna happen tomorrow. Well, that gives me something to look forward to! Your post totally cracked me up. The board has been a bit schizophrenic today and if any of our members are prone to mood swings, they might want to spend the next few days fishing or shopping because they will probably be in store for a bumpy ride.

Ah I knew it. Looks like NoAngel's prediction of March/May 2012 was correct. Don't worry Adam I'll be perfectly alright by then. Just started reading the thread..I hear you, Reihmer.. How do you say 'double crap' in Finnish? ETA: Perhaps I should just admit that I am 'Finnished' with anticipating and back on the ledge..2012..'probably' is my new least favorite word... ETA2: 'ish' is my second least favorite word

Totally OT, sorry, but I need HELP! I've never had a twitter account, don't have a face-book account, am generally pretty clueless about such things (although I know how to go to twitter.com and search for tweets). So, I'm just now setting up an account, not for stanning but for a light-hearted non-adam-related project which may eventually turn into something for work but right now is just for fun. So I'm going through the process, set up my twitter name and everything, and once that's done I get a page that says "suggestions: follow these people to get started" with links to all sorts of people I know, friends, work contacts, etc, plus random celebs and a few links associated with other interest of mine (lol FOOD). HOW DO THEY KNOW THIS STUFF ABOUT ME??? freaked me out a lot, ngl. Where does it come from? I don't even have a facebook page with likes and dislikes, etc? Does this mean that the people they mention now will also receive a link to my new twitter account suggesting they follow me? Because it's a pretty silly idea and I'm not sure I want everyone seeing it just yet? Is there a way I can remain more anonymous? Any help (via PM or otherwise) would be greatly appreciated, and if I need to move this to the members thread, mods, please let me know. THANKS!!! As far as I know, it seems like it's pulling the "who to follow" suggestion information from either your provided email address, the twitter searches you have done in the past and/or it's some kind of browser history related thing (in other words, would it be different if you set it up on a public computer?). I don't know that anyone but you can see it? It freaked me out too because it suggested my fandom twitter account follow my RL twitter account, and I used different email addresses when signing up to keep these separate. The "similar to you" lists that you can see on your and others twitter margins are simply comparing people that you follow and that follow you on twitter -- those suggestions seem less "big brother" to me.

Keep at it everyone .....I am happy to hear everyone's opinion as long as everyone remains respectful. I really wish I could be more like Gelly ..... I have a special picture only for you. This is from the GLAAD awards but it's one of the VERY few without his glasses. Isn't he gorgeous? :D And I know, that you know, until the Grammy's... this was my favorite red carpet look! So much hotnesss! Loved all the blue! Thank you, BB!

WE NEED THE SINGLE NOW! NOW! YES! YES! YES! OH GOD YES! (lol this post is just an excuse to post a totally inappropriate gif I just found on photobucket...you're welcome) EDIT: Oh god this topped! lmaooooo um, yeah, totally inappropriate AND hilarious all at the same time!! Still catching up. Head is spinning from the roller coaster ride....The only thing that would send me over the edge at this point is if I don't like the single and it doesn't do well. I'd be ok if a) I don't like it but it's a hit... or b) I like it but it doesn't do well. Other than that, I think I'll survive. ??? LOL chunkey. that made me think of this clip which never fails to crack me up.

Look, I'm not telling anyone that what they feel is wrong, but all if this is just speculation. You can make yourself crazy dwelling on the negative. A great mentor once told me " stay out of your head, it's a bad neighborhood. " I think what she meant was once you start trying to guess the outcome of your greatest fears you only give them more power. I choose to speculate this is all positive for Adam. I know that's not always easy but it' slot less stressful. Besides, I think it's true. JMHO. You’d think we would have learned this lesson from all the “gates” we’ve survived, but it just takes a day or two to adjust to new info and realities. And about the wording of posts, I’ve typed 4 or 5 today then deleted them because when everyone is on edge, what’s meant to be funny doesn’t always come across that way, and what is meant to be just an honest opinion can come across as harsh. For ME, it is best to refrain until the dust has settled and reality is accepted.

Adamrocks, that is the prettiest pile of purple poop EVAH! And MWP, I love Twitter, but I am SO not an expert, so I will hope that someone more knowledgeable will respond to you. I think that any info in public domain related to the name(s) you used to set up your twitter account (both real and twitter-name) are prob. accessed by twitter and might explain the "suggestions." And I know that if you don't follow ANYONE, you are unlikely to get anyone to follow you. I don't have many of either--people I follow or followers, but then I'm not trying to get my silly tweets to many people, just doing it for fun. It all kind of depends what your purpose/goal is with your acct. I am NOT a twitter expert--far from it. But let me know, or pm me, if no one else answers your questions. This is a very new and extremely disturbing thing. And I do not like it one little bit. I think it's intrusive and very Big Brother. Especially for people who are trying to keep their personal and professional lives totally separate. I'll PM you a little more detail, MWP, but it is very strange and extremely freaky.

Okay, thanks, rabbitrabbit, and thanks Hoopla. I've calmed down now, and decided that nothing I'm doing is SOOO idiotic that it would sink me in RL. But I think you're right, rabbitrabbit, that twitter somehow knows who's on my contacts list in my regular email, because some of those names they wouldn't have found any other way. And that is pretty damn invasive, if you ask me. Also, I tend to use the "private browsing" setting on my browser even at home because although I'm no conspiracy theorist, it bothers me when the interwebs keep track of me, lol, so I avoid it when possible. So I'm really at a loss as to where else they could have gotten such information. OH wells, deep breath, forging ahead into brave new worlds....
