I need to talk about something that I'm feeling rather sad about. I'm very happy for Brian and Roger that the movie is getting such great response. I feel like Adam is being left out of everything, I don't think he was invited to go to the London premiere. They have had such little publicity for 6 years of amazing concerts and to see this unbelievable amount of press regarding this movie just makes me feel like Adam had been slighted. I just wish that somehow Adam had been included in this more. Adam's comment about being a C list star makes me wonder if he really doesn't feel like the frontman for queen but more of a cover band singer. I understand that the movie is primarily about Freddie's life but Adam has brought Freddie's Legacy and Queen's Legacy to life over the last several years. He gave Queen a new found life that without Adam I don't believe would really exist at this level. I don't know, feeling sad I have seen some non-fans try to portray Adam this way but from his interviews he always seems very proud of his standing in the band. Brian and Roger don't treat him or talk about him that way either. So for me, I feel the pride that he seems to feel. But as for the movie, I don't really see how Adam could take a more centerstage role as the movie is about Freddie and Queen and not QAL. I'm sure Adam could have gone to the London premiere if he had wanted to. In a way, the publicity about the movie is still bringing more attention to him, imo. Don't really see a downside to this.

I hope that everyone, who wants to see the movie, will find a cinema to do so. In Berlin it looks like almost every cinema is going to show it. But since I just started my vacation on the Canary Isles today, I will possibly be the last one to see it. š No Chance for the next two weeks. But I looove my vacation. So I will take the spoilers (because I wonāt quit the internet in that time) and look forward for my turn. š

I agree with that. If Adam had wanted to attend the London premiere, he would have been there. But he has really rather nothing to do with this film. Why should he fly all the way to London, when he can attend another, closer premiere (New York?). Iām sure, this was his decision.

I think it would have looked really good for Adam to be there supporting Brian and Rodger. It would have look good to the Queen fans to see his support. And it would have cemented his part in the Queen legacy. I really don't think he was asked, I hope I'm wrong.

It's great that he got even a little bit in the film. I don't think for a minute that Adam has been somehow reduced to "cover band singer" status. Not at all! He IS QUEEN's front man and for very good reason. He is the best singer out there. Period. Brian and Roger love him and surely intend to keep him till they no longer perform. Adam has a small part in the film so I'm not "jealous" that he is not getting the attention that the leads in the film are getting. They are the stars of the film, not him. He gets that, and I think we should, too. I don't think Adam not be in London means anything negative at all. He will be in NYC which will also be a big premiere shindig. He will be a part of it. This film is giving Adam more visibility than ever. I hope he gets interviewed a little during the premiere. The association is so valuable. NO ONE is Queen's front man but Adam. Not Rami, not anybody. Rami isn't a singer, but he's perfect for the role of Freddie. Adam is reaping some of the benefits of this movie. He deserves to be there.
