I have seen some non-fans try to portray Adam this way but from his interviews he always seems very proud of his standing in the band. Brian and Roger don't treat him or talk about him that way either. So for me, I feel the pride that he seems to feel. But as for the movie, I don't really see how Adam could take a more centerstage role as the movie is about Freddie and Queen and not QAL. I'm sure Adam could have gone to the London premiere if he had wanted to. In a way, the publicity about the movie is still bringing more attention to him, imo. Don't really see a downside to this. lurleene, I agree with you. I don't think Adam is being slighted at all. He has a cameo in the movie, which I am SO excited to see! It's great that he got even a little bit in the film. I don't think for a minute that Adam has been somehow reduced to "cover band singer" status. Not at all! He IS QUEEN's front man and for very good reason. He is the best singer out there. Period. Brian and Roger love him and surely intend to keep him till they no longer perform. Adam has a small part in the film so I'm not "jealous" that he is not getting the attention that the leads in the film are getting. They are the stars of the film, not him. He gets that, and I think we should, too. I don't think Adam not be in London means anything negative at all. He will be in NYC which will also be a big premiere shindig. He will be a part of it. This film is giving Adam more visibility than ever. I hope he gets interviewed a little during the premiere. The association is so valuable. NO ONE is Queen's front man but Adam. Not Rami, not anybody. Rami isn't a singer, but he's perfect for the role of Freddie. Adam is reaping some of the benefits of this movie. He deserves to be there. I am happy he’ll be at the NYC event on October 30th, hope we’ll have some media attention and reporting! incidentally, just checked the special IMAX showing on October 31st at the AMC Lincoln Square - a bit less than 2/3 sold so far. I’m a bit surprised tbh...

I think it would have looked really good for Adam to be there supporting Brian and Rodger. It would have look good to the Queen fans to see his support. And it would have cemented his part in the Queen legacy. I really don't think he was asked, I hope I'm wrong. I in NO WAY think Adam has ever been slighted are unappreciated by Brian and Roger. I feel they know and treasure the new life Adam has given Queen...and Adam...Brian...Roger...and all of the band are FAMILY!JMHO. And AFL is their "GIFT FROM GOD"!!

Bo Rhap does open here Nov. 2 but is only at one of 2 IMAX theatres for 1 week in English... Movie website for Guadalajara shows a few in English (IMAX and non), some showings are subtitled and some evidently dubbed in Spanish. I can't imagine. Will probably drive in to Guadalajara and stay overnite. There are two small multiplex theatres locally and the same thing applies - dubbed?!?!?

seeing all your messages here, that you have trouble finding a location that plays the m0vie, I panicked and thought that it may be difficult here in central PA as well, but no, two major multiplex theaters are playing it 4 times a day starting at noon, and one more alternative leaning theater plays it twice a day. And there are a couple of other theaters a bit further out, so there is no problem seeing the film, it is a major release. Now, none of these are IMAX, but they are playing it 2D starting Nov. 1 in the evening. Now for IMAX, I would have to travel about an hour as well, but I don't really care about that quite so much, tbh.
So is the film not at all showing where you are, or is your complication just due to the fact that you are trying to find an IMAX theater that plays it?
The movie is playing at 3 theaters in my area beginning Nov. 1, but I'm driving 2 hours to an IMAX theater on Sunday, Nov. 4 - as it's also a good location to meet a couple of glambert friends and make it a reunion of sorts with movie and dinner!

Well I don't see the movie til Nov. 4 (IMAX theater woohoo!) - I imagine by then, Adamtopia will have divulged where I should look for the scene! I think we'll know after the first show today.....lol. Then when we know approx when he appears I bet someone will film just that part on their phone and we can see it. I'm not going until Nov 4th as well. Wish it were an IMAX viewing. I'm having to drive an hour to find a regular theater showing it. We have a 10 plex in my town, but they aren't showing it here. Wow an hour to find any theater playing it, that's just wrong! :(

The nearest IMAX to me is Atlanta...way too far away. My local 10 theater complex just isn't showing it. They must think there's not a market for it here. It is playing at several theaters in Birmingham and Huntsville. But that's OK as I'm going with Justwishin who lives in Birmingham so we'll make it a lunch and movie date! That's exactly what we're doing in Sacramento, making a date out of it!

Long after the hoopla about this movie is over. Adam will still be the front man for Queen. Rami will go on with his career, maybe with an Oscar under his belt. And Adam would be the first to congratulate him. This isn't Adam's movie. Brian and Roger are getting plenty of support and they know Adam supports them. They'll meet up in NY and hopefully Adam will get some media face time, too.
