So everyone knows, the hugs abounding are equal opportunity hugs. I don't see two camps here..the optomists and the doomers. I see a community of people in various stages of process. Wouldn't it be nice to congratulate one another that we are courageous enough to be aware to know we ARE in process? Each stage of a process is learning and you never get it done..it keeps evolving..that, to me is what keeps Atop vital.  Just a thought...  I have learned (or remembered :  several things today: 1. I can be a poor communicator, especially in writing 2. I can get pissy now and again * ahem* 3. TBH, I like things best when they are light and funny around here but I actually do value all perspectives. (when I'm not being pissy about it - see point 2 above lol) 4. Atop (and PF before) have been home for such a long time. Sometimes family gets on my nerves and vice versa but I can't imagine life without it.  |

Still sad about the new release date and that we won't get to buy it around holidays.
But i'm not worried about the sales number. Like Adam said a great song is a great song, people will buy it. So let's have faith that his album is great and no matter when it will get released, people will buy it.

This is one of those .... what did Adam call it? Dry feed? Where there is not any enhancement on the sound system, just his voice, unaltered. The type Adam said doesn't sound good for anyone. I beg to differ. He sounds great here. So clear, spot on, that you almost believe he is lip-syching, but he's not. And such a stunning, fierce video. Thanks for this reminder of how good he sounds when his voice is front and center. And we will have an album of that???? Oooooo, I'm gonna love it! Wow. This does surprise me a bit because he will be in direct competition with Nickelback. However, the new RCA seems to be a rock guy, ot that Daughtry is actually rock. ETA: His first album sold almost 5 million. His second album sold just over 1 million, about 1.2 I think. His 2 singles from the second album did not do as well as WWFM and IIHY. |
