True but I have problem with him touring with Queen. He's doing amazing job but it's not creative, he's not Freddie it's more about money. If you want to be Queen without Freddie write new songs with Adam, but oops he can't compose... Adam is not going to ask any posters for permission to tour with Queen. If some don't like it they can stay home. Adam does not need to be Freddie. He died 27 years ago and who knows what he would be doing today if he had lived? I am more than happy with Adam being Adam Lambert. And I have loved the songs Adam co-wrote far better than that song by Bruno or those by Dr. Luke. So your opinion of his writing is your opinion but I don't agree with it. He creates with his songs for his solo work even if not for Queen. His creativity is not erased because he and Queen have passed on that idea. And I will say it again, there are song-writers and composers playing to 100 people in some dive. Some supporters of those people and are always trying to dismiss Adam. But no one pays any attention to them because he is still making more money and more in demand and more famous than they are. to be clear- I'm not a song writer or singer, so no jealousy, I only play piano. He can do whatever he wants.

So, elaevans. I see that you that you registered on Adamtopia only two hours ago which is intriguing. Most posters here have been around a while but it is always nice to get new active members. Certainly there are many divergent viewpoints about Adam among our regular members and we try our best to respect all the various opinions and specific interests. Why don't you tell us your Adam fan origin story and what you find so compelling about him that you would join a fan board. Short story short - I love American crime story so when I saw The Assassination of G. Versace this year I try to found out more about leading actor Darren Criss that lead me to 'Glee' and Adam's 'Merry the night' performance blown my mind. I knew a little about him before but not so much. This summer I was in London and I've decided to go on Queen concert. I was blown away, so next day I went again. And now I'm trying to catch up with everything, not easy, almost 10 years...I'm a fan of his voice but his solo music not so much. I love his fashion sense and that he seems so down to earth. I hope that his new album will be more rock'n'roll. Nice transition - murder stories to Glee to QAL. You do indeed have a lot to catch up with but it is generally a lot of fun. We have members here who want mostly pop music and those who crave rock and roll. We even have a few who would give their eye-teeth for just a little opera. And let's not even talk about an album of American Standards (you know who you are ). Thank you for your story, it is kind of a rite of passage around here.

I really hope Adam was with Brian and Roger at the premiere.
My two cents worth about this debate regarding Adam writing and composing. Adam's gift is his voice. He should surround himself with excellent lyricists and composers. He can share in the writing but he's definitely not a composer. I've always thought he might have been better in a band where those other talents could be shared to create great songs. I think he's written some beautiful lyrics like Broken Open and Aftermath. I think he has written some stupid lyrics like Naked Love and If I Had You. Regardless if he's a solo artist or in a band he should have a much stronger band surrounding him. I think for him to have his dream of being a successful touring and recording solo artist he needs top-notch writers, composers and top notch instrumentalists. He's written some fantastic lyrics that haven't had the composing good enough for the lyrics. Stop chasing the next popular pop producer and find a damn good composer to work with.

I'm not about to compose anything. I had piano lessons as a child. I now sing in a church choir which prides itself on the Anglican "classics". Some are more proficient musicians than others. Yes, there are some semi professionals. But if a non-professional wants to find a starting pitch, the choir director will point to the key set by the organ pedal or so other point of reference. You don't need to have an instrumental background to recognize chord structure. I'm sure Adam can also.

I love the fuschia suit and navy shirt. I like the scarf/ascot too, but I think it makes Adam look like an aristocratic Brit. But I thought the top button or two were supposed to be unbuttoned. foxvegas : 41 PRO PHOTOS In ALBUM: ADAM LAMBERT New York Premiere 'Bohemian Rhapsody' 30.10.18 📸Getty Images/Just Jared #AdamLambert #BohemianRhapsody www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10156220353724091&type=1&l=92063806a3 Perhaps he is covering up love bites from the weekend and his develish persona.
