Adam sure gets a lot of press coverage in the US and internationally for someone that no one knows.

Adam has made it clear that he has written tons of songs and that the present hold-up is not because there are no songs. What we don't know exactly is whether there is a new label contract and whether the manager situation is still solid. If he has a new major label, and given that there are only three of those left, then he is somewhat at the mercy of the timelines of that label, as he cannot walk again. He has recently made two comments: 1) that he wished he knew what the present timeline is, and 2) ??? that some of these business people are lairs ???(does anybody remember in which interview that way, about a month ago or so, I would like to correct the wording to what exactly he said). It gave me a sense that he may be a bit stuck. How bad or for how long? I don't know. But that is the impression he gave me recently.
I am a fan of his for life (he would have to screw stuff very badly to make me change that). But I have not followed him as closely now since years. Not all of what he does publicly or semi-publicly interests me or is to my taste. Never got an Instagram account, don't care about his parties, friends, home decor, etc.... just not my thing. So I scaled back. The recent rougher waters that he may be in with his own music situation though, that make me only firmer in being here and staying here. I can wait.
I am very grateful that via Queen he had some chance to fill the vacancies and at the same time develop a profile and resume for himself and give us wonderful concerts and many happy pictures and performances along the way. In no way shape or form, do I believe that Queen has been a hindrance to his own career. I rather think they were a God sent, both on a personal as well as professional level. Adam is carried by muses and marches to his own drum. There will be many more chapters, expected or unexpected ones. What they will be, I don't know. But if times are rough, then right now I am waving my AFL flag and showing my support.

@graciejane I've wondered about that too. I actually do believe him mostly when he seems relaxed about his current situation. Although i ask myself how long and what it took for Adam as we "know" him as a person to get there to that mindset. Which doesn't mean it can't "get to him" at times. I do believe Adam when he says it's not as simple as queen or solo. Music. It's maybe a good time filler until inspiration strikes again for the next album and you don't have to force yourself. Don't see, why Adam would be without a label. Well, we don't know for sure that it was even his decision to leave WBR. That has never been discussed by anyone official ( and I don't put a whole lot of stock on an anonymous poster here at Adamtopia who pops in and out with "insider" knowledge). Hooking up with a major label is a challenge for sure, and I hope that we learn at some point just where Adam is in this equation. I do think if he had a major, there would be much more focus on getting an album out. I don't think the hold-up is that he is lacking inspiration I don't think so either, didn't mean to say Adam is lacking inspiration. I just meant that it's hard, when you make an album promote it, release it, tour it and and then automatically expect inspiration to strike again when you get home from tour and back into the studio. Other recording artists find other things to do as well. Just in a general sense, not Adam-specifical.

Adam inspires me,fascinates me and quite honestly colors my world.. So there is no way I'm going anywhere...I have enjoyed the journey that he asked his fans to take with him, after Idol.. So I signed up . Life is full of ups and downs for everyone,Adam being no exception..Since I'm merely a passenger on his excursion,I accept and enjoy living vicariously. What's next ,I'm up for it all

Oh Hell! I don't care what he does or how he looks; I'm a fan for life. Oh thank God, me too! I'm sick of all the opinions about his look, the hole in his pants, who the hell cares, it's the man with the voice I fell in love with. That has not changed. We've been blessed with concerts from every corner of the globe. Watching him perform with that amazing talent he possesses. I'll take him with or without the beard, I know what that face looks like and he's a beautiful man. As far as his music is concerned we've had 3 albums in 9 years. I'd say pretty good! If you jump off the band wagon because his beard is too thick, or he has a hole in his pants well, enough said!

Being a fan means we don’t drop him because he has a look we don’t like or is having some set backs getting his album out. I ama fan for life because Adam is special:). Just my opinion no intent to offend anyone!

I am really enjoying all these affirmations of fandom. It feels good as we head into somewhat of a dry spell. Fortunately we will have various holidays to distract us, but we know we'll be here when something happens to bring us back together.

I agree, I might not always love everything he does but I love the person he is and like someone else said he'd have to do something really bad to put me off.
