Somebody on Twitter said that Brian is in the movie wearing yellow on top of a rig in the Live Aid scene. I'll have to see if I can find him tomorrow. Ooh really??? I’ll have to look but everything moves so fast it may be hard to see him. I hope you find him! twitter.com/theFlowergothic/status/1058866491125202944

Just returned from Bohemian Rhapsody, went to see it with my brothers and 13 year old niece. Great movie we all really enjoyed it and one of my brothers thought it was Oscar worthy especially Rami and I agree. There was a lot of attention to detail, in the recording sessions and live aid concert.

Saw the movie today. Loved it. It was the movie Brian and Roger would have blessed. I'm sure that things were glossed over, but the music shines through.

Jessica Radloff @jradloff Once you've seen #BohemianRhapsody, read this...https://www.glamour.com/story/bohemian-rhapsody-mary-austin … WOW!! Really great article!! Thanks for posting!! This article gets to the heart of the movie! It explains what message they wanted to get across! The critics don't get it and that's why they won't understand why the movie connects with large segments of the public! Here are some quotes: ... King echoes this, saying, "Freddie and Mary were so above their time. Part of the reason why I wanted to make this film was I wanted to show a young audience how Freddie lived his life. I remember showing my youngest daughter, who was 21 at the time, an early cut of the film. She said, ‘Dad, any kid 12 and up who is confused on their sexuality, confused at their life, will look at this movie as a guidance.' That to me was the best compliment I could get about the Freddie-Mary and Freddie story. That’s what we looked to create." Boynton agrees. "I think [their relationship] shows us that love is a color spectrum," she says. "As soon as we stop trying to put boxes and labels to every relationship and dynamic, we'll be so much more liberated and at peace. That’s one of the biggest takeaways. If you stop trying to restrict yourself by defining yourself and love in other people’s terms, it’s the most liberating thing.” ... It's also why King was intent on Bohemian Rhapsody receiving a PG-13 rating instead of R. "I want a young audience to discover who Freddie Mercury was," he says. "I want people to walk out with the feeling that one can go through so much adversity in their life, but go out on top. The end becomes a real celebration of his life and what he went through, beginning with an immigrant kid who was bullied and then makes it against all odds."

Just got back from the movie, and loved it.
The critics are full of ****. While it is true that the movie takes a bit of time to gain overall momentum, this is not because they spend too much time at the beginning, but rather because they have to jump over too much. All the coverage of the band coming into its own and eventually becoming a world wide phenomenon, is actually shortened a lot, and that makes it seem artificial. But this is exactly done to have more room to show all the in depth coverage of all the developments surrounding Freddie and the band later, and then all the stuff leading up to Live Aid.
The gay topic is extensively covered. Maybe not in that explicit way that these media hounds wanted to see it, but rather in depth with some human perspective on all the various aspects of that. It is not glossed over, by any means.
I think some of these weasels must have just watched the first 20 minutes only, and then left the theater and wrote their stupid critiques. Otherwise, you seriously cannot come to the conclusion that they came too.
I am very glad to see that the public is voting with its feet and is ignoring the critics. Went to see the show with 3 teenagers in tow, they all loved it.
